Ode To Hillary

Ode to Hillary

November the ninth in,
Two thousand sixteen,
The end of her journey,
The light she had seen.

Her big day upon her,
She tuned in to see,
The voting results that,
Would bring her much glee.

But there had been problems,
That she couldn’t shake,
Benghazi and emails,
And being a fake.

By two in the morning,
She saw her own fate,
That all she could muster,
Was two twenty eight.

She looked at his numbers,
Oh how can this be?
That his count exceeded,
Two bills seventy.

The pollsters be damned ‘cause,
They had it all wrong,
Now millions are crying,
Someone strike the gong!

And end this charade please,
This horrible dream,
This farce in the making,
Oh this is so mean!

This was her great calling,
So ev’ryone says,
That she should be voted,
The first female prez.

And now that dumb racist,
That Neanderthal,
Is smiling in vic’try
And mocking us all.

He doesn’t deserve it,
He’s such a bad man,
He owes his big win yes,
To Duke and the Klan.

And Comey he surely,
As hell screwed her cause,
Now Donald is standing,
To tons of applause.

And she’s been rejected,
A slap in the face,
She never expected,
To lose this big race.

Her future is cloudy,
With nowhere to go,
There’s no more elections,
Oh no, no, no, no!

She’ll just be remembered,
The rest of her life,
A failed politician,
And Billy Boy’s wife.

Her legacy’s tarnished,
It’s all in the dump,
‘Cause she was unable,
To beat Donald Trump.

Bad beaten and hurting,
And crying and tired,
She phoned her concession,
He said “Bitch you’re fired”!

The End

Yeesh. Did you get your money back?

The money you paid for your poooetry lessons?

This is so bad it reminds me of TBoneJack. He wrote some awful stuff. I had to scrub out my eyeballs after seeing his prose. It could be worse, he could have tried to set it to music.

Kinda yoga instructor-ish. If you like that sort of thing.

While you may not believe it, I didn't have to pay anything for my poetry lessons. I got them for free!

Hard to believe, I know. But it's true. Sometimes a great deal just comes along.
