Odd new growth out of large lan leaf?

Hey everyone. This is my first grow and I have been keeping my eyes out for abnormalities along the way. This is the first unexplainable thing I have experienced, can anyone explain this? I cannot find this kind of new growth on any other of the fan leaves. I am 3 weeks into flowering a bag seed in DWC if that helps. Pics 1 and 2 are the weird leaf growth and Pic 3 is my first dominant nug forming !

Well, I know no one replied originally but the weird leaf growth has matured and I thought that I may as well post the updated pics. The first pic is of the whole plant, the second is of the fan leaf producing the pistils, the third is a closer picture and the fourth and even closer one. Anyone know what this is?

EDIT: This is the only fan leaf exhibiting this characteristic and it does not look like a hermie ball to me.

this hapened to me too in my firs grow with some bag seed along with manny 4-6-8 fan leaf

You think a baby nug will form in the middle of the fan leaf? Or maybe it will just be a very frosty leaf in the end.. I guess in 4 more weeks we will find out!

good luck. i don't think you wil get a "nug". i did not get anny from my grow

Oh well, thanks for your opinion on the matter. I'm digging this bag seed it seems seriously sativa dominant. It is growing so tall that I had to train the top of my dominant stem to curve horizontally, almost like a last minute lst. It seems to be working nicely because the LED doesn't heat up nearly enough to hurt the delicate pistils.

huhu looks seriously smokeable huhu
i cant really see from the pic is it coming from the leaf or from the petiole?

It is coming from the center of the leaf where all the blades meet. It is a hard trichome covered lump with pistils coming out of it and I am stumped.

its a big calyx then.
inexpliccable by me but i bet its just a random abnormality somewhere in that specific seed's genetics.
i guess its the same sort of thing as getting a seed with three petioles at each node or when you get syamese seeds.
just another.......... things that make ya go hmmmmmmm

i had a bubblicious plant that grew a nice little bowl sized nug out of the same spot, seemed the same as the normal flowers. I heard its just a rare genetic thing.
