hey guys, got like 13 plants going outdoors. and i got 2 plants that theyre pretty
healthy other then minor bug bites. but the leaves are looking a little odd. like
curling up. they like nice and dark green and healthy tho.

wondering if this is just a characteristic of the strain which i dont know because its a bag seed
or does it mean something else?

any help greatly appreciated. thx

Looks like heat stress man. Those clay pots get really hot outside! Put them in black or tan fabric pots amd keep the soil cool somehow.

Its not a major issue. Just gotta keep those girls babies cool and shaded for awhile.

Have a great season!

Hi ambedexteras, I think the same thing is happening to mine also. Had to cut all the very blackened and curled leaves off, leaving a very very sad looking plant. Just hope they can recover. Excuse the photos, camera phone;

I would remove all the lower suckers off then stem.. this will forve the energy it's using to keep that alive to the top..

she looks like she needs from N too..

remove all the leaves along the stem till you get to the largest leaf there you will notice a massive growth in 5 days..

Here in Cen Cal the temps in the summer stay at 100+ from about may-nov I have a shade cloth and water almost daily during the 100+ days.. I run a mister about 15 feet in front of them so the mist does not burn them and the cooler air + humidity from them helps them

you may need to up your watering

Hey Gioua, thanks for those comments, I'll remove all the smaller leaves along the whole stem if you think that might help growth.

Sorry, not a regular on here, what do you mean when you say "she looks like she needs from N too.." you mean nutrients?

Thanks,

hey roaming. no Gioua means it looks like you may need more N (nitrogen) this can be added in many diff ways.
either an additive or nutes you can buy @ a store or im sure theres a cheap "remedy" if you google how to resolve a
Nitrogen deficiency in a cannabis plant.

Hi guys, thanks for explaining the "n" - appreciate that.
So, my plants now resemble a tiny palm tree. Look quite nice actually! Let's see how they go. I'll pop to the shops tomorrow and get some nitrogen.
Will keep you updated....20130626_204726.jpg20130626_204735.jpg20130626_204742.jpg20130626_204748.jpg

at least that tall.. had a 7+ in a 230 gal last year.. but hated not seeing the top for worms

well i think i have like a 20-30 gal like plastic container like urs. and if you look in my signature i have a grow going and this one bush that im really babying.
and i want it either in like a 55 Gal drum (like a trash bin) or the 20-30 gal plastic container. i was thinking the trash been because its taller so i assume the roots could grow deeper meaning a bigger plant? not sure thats how it works. but i only want to transplant it one more time.

its the 20-30 gal plastic, the ground, or the 55gal drum. which do you think would be my best bet? and what do you think of my ladies if you looked @ my sig :)

Morning all, thought I'd give you an update on my weird mutated plants.
For a while there things were going well-ish, but the old issues have come back. Have a look at the latest pics.

Also attached a picture of my Northern Lights Autoflowering, but surely it shouldn't flower at such an early stage???

Really bad year this one!!July1.jpgJuly2.jpgJuly3.jpgnl1.jpg

ambedexteras - when the leaves are cupped, but still green and healthy like yours - its as monsterog said it's heat stress - usually too close to a light but it happens outside too. you could try insulating the pot to keep that plastic from getting too hot and if it's not too much hassle you can move the plant into some shade when it's blazing hot outside, or put up a bit of shade cloth for her.
