. . . ^ isn't this a stat? So, what gets your attention exactly cause now I think we are both confused. Oh wait, nope. Just you!
he won't even tell me the whole story behind that $60 million. if it was $60 million wasted out of several billion, that's a low fraud rate. private businesses might love to have the same success with respect to loss prevention.

but beenthere won't give us the whole story :(

so the guy making $20 million pays 13% in taxes, the guy making $50k pays 25% or so in taxes, and all is well?

do go on about the successes of trickle down economics over the last 30 years. who has benefited?
Your figures are grossly inaccurate.

The "typical guy" making 50k pays an average 7-8% or $3,000-$4,000 in annual income taxes.
The typical rich guy making millions of dollars a year pays around 16%, hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in income taxes.

Maybe that's why you're so bitter, you've been lied too so much.

yep, that's you lying to me right there and making me bitter. the tax rates you quote are bullshit.

let's focus even further on what gets taken out of our checks.

the average joe pays 6.2% of their income to social security.

mitt romney pays 6.2% of the first $108k or so of his income to social security, which totals to .03348% of his income.

if you applied that same tax rate to the average joe making $50k, that would be a savings of over $3,000 every year.

and if you applied average joe's tax rate to romney, social security would be solvent forever.

you sure have a knack for omitting any detail that does not have ronald reagan's spunk oozing off of it.

please do tell me about the successes of trickle down. who has benefited?

Hearing a claim on a video is not a statistic, this why I said it got my attention.
If I find the same information from reputable sources, I'll know it is more than likely a fact.

Go to the IRS website and find out for yourself if the wealthy in fact do pay a higher effective income tax rate than 85% of Americans, use that information and see who is lying.

Let me start by telling you, not only are your payroll tax rates of 6.2% wrong, payroll taxes have absolutely nothing to do with income taxes, rookie.

Like I said before Bucky, you don't know shit about your own taxes, let alone anyone else's.
Quit making a bigger fool of yourself than you already have.

you're clearly retarded.

6.2% is taken out of every check for social security. says so right on the stub. want me to show your dumb ass again?

but that is capped at around $108k (last time i checked). so the uber wealthy get a nice 6% break over the rest of us, on top of having a lower rate of taxation on their capital gains than an honest worker making $50-$75k does.

take the cock out of your mouth already and tell me how trickle down has been successful and who has benefited.

As usual you're full of talk and short on facts. 6.2% is the withholding from your employer moron, your portion is only 4.2%, and they're not taxes idiot, it's federal insurance contributions to pay for SS and Medicare

Try again know it all. LMFAO

$60 million out of how many billions of dollars?

there's a crucial number missing here. but as long as you cut them a check it will be alright.
UB Afew million here a few million there soon you will have billions. Is that what you do throw out a few hundred here a few hundred there and you will find you are one stupid broke mofo. You don't understand that you need to go back to school.

Perfectly efficient, it's never been close!
It sounds like you're making light of it because you don't want to address it.
My interest was piqued by the gun confiscation claim. I am pursuing that. In my subjective opinion, the checks-to-dead-people thing is a molehill and not a mountain. Nobody has provided attributable, verifiable/falsifiable text. cn

it's currently 4.2 percent, has traditionally been 6.2%, and it's an effective tax.

that's all you got though. cute.

Funny, hearing my tax dollars sends over $60million a year in government checks to dead people surely caught my attention. And it's ok with you that they want more of our tax dollars?
I just want to read it, with attributions. Surely that isn't a whole lot to ask. cn
Hey you're free to focus on any issue you like, but it sure looked like your response was aimed at the government waste comment I made.

It just looks like you switched midstream when more information was brought forth, no worries.

$600 million over 5 years?

wow!

that's $120 million a year. we spend what, about $1.5 trillion on entitlements every year?

so $120 million out of $1.2 trillion (rounded down for simplicity) and we have about a 10% loss due to fraud, neglect and abuse. that seems about on par with what any business deals with in the loss prevention department.

I can respect that it looked like that. However my focus was, from the first, on the (to me) unsubstantiated alarmism about guns. cn
