Anyone who tries to fall back on saying we went in to Iraq for oil is just clueless to reality. As stated we do not get the Iraqi oil we get it from the above named sources and the oil we do get we can not refine fast enough since Clinton thought a great way to save money would be to demolish 8 of our refineries instead of temp closing or refurbing them. It amazes me how un aware of reality some people are with thier hatred towards conflcit that they would let that block all actual facts with this fantasy that we would go into a place like Iraq for oil when there are way simplier less costly ways to get oils then to ever even consider that. Jesues the pres gave 3 exact reasons he wanted to go in proved 2 in the matter of a month and found enough evidence to show reason 3 was a valid concerns yet the blind sayy nooo its for oil come on now little reality and thought process people.

exactly what I'm saying...we fought his war for the big oil companies and what did we get from it...death and debt...what were the 3 reasons the pres gave?

You make statements like you do an do not even know the 3 stated reason before the envasion was even made? That speech was on every channel before and after the ernvasion. You really have to stop as you clearly have no knowledge of this topic. Go back a few pages and read my long history post which went into depth on this but I will do a quick posting of those 3 reason again and for backing and more facts on those please go back a few pages and read the thread post.
Reason stated
1. Saddam was funding and allowing safe haven for terrorist groups which was a violation of the original Desert war treaty (not to mention breaking the embargo with illeagl trade with France via Unicef).

2 Saddam was practiceing genocidial techniques through mass murder of the Kurds in a cleansing process he wanted as he felt them as unpure and against his nation.( oops found the mass graves of over 275000 murder kurds) remember hitler and ww2?
3 Intelligence shows reason to belive saddam had manufactured nuclear and biological long range war heads..A violation of the desert storm and United Nations emposed sanctions.(refinerys were found to have radioactive traces,reciepts for the nmissiles parts from france via unbicef were found in Iraq, Saddam was found with large US currency while truck movement just before were seen and shown going into Iran who now grew some balls why maybe some new toys? )

Found the genocidal graves,found his terrorist allowed strong holds and found a good amount of evidence to support the nuclear long range weapons with evidence showing he sold to Iran for money to flee with since he knew he was done in Iraq..

Its so funny how Iran a non Nuclear developing country all of the sudden has a nuclear division 5 years after the Iraq war..hmmm disovered how to make uranium , refine it, build a power plant, and a war division in less then any highly advanced technological unhindered country in history...its like someone handed them the stuff and blueprints...oh wait Iraq did.

So you cant read very good either.Its like talking to a 12 year old. Lets go slow so you can folow even though its very clearly put up several times.....Sadddam who was the leader of Iraq right? He was under attack and on the run right? He had no money and needed cash to flee..with me so far I know its hard..He had the nuclear heads and equiptment IRAN wanted and they had the cash he needed..had to be liquid assets so he could use it freely...He sold the stuff to Iran who hates the US just as much and they took cash they had and gave it to Saddam...Ok Im trying to go slow now..Saddam then had cash assets which ..keep up now..we caught him in possession with in the hole in the ground...see we stopped his money already but he did a thing called selling and got new cash for his nuclear technology....if you can not follow this then you need to get back in school. You ll have to giuve me a bit of time to dig up links to all the footage and sattelite scans and the information. But in the mean time can you show me how Iran leap frogged advanced nations to a full nuclear program in less then 5 years and show me how saddam would have goteen the millions he was found with when all ways of his finacial assets were frozen and seized. just so we are fair and then if anyone who yells it was for the oil can show bit of evidence to support that opr show where that oil is at that we did this for but never used Id be happy to see that also.Ill go find some links many can be found on cnn and the bbc that will show the sattalite movement of trucks into Iran from Irag and then there should still be story links showing the finding of france and unicef illegal sales of long range missle parts and techonolgy to carry these and I will look for few stories on the nuclkear steam and radiation we found coming from nuclkear plants. Would that be sufficient to show where my statement came from. Saddam had vaults full of american cash, The cash he had on him when he was on the run is nothing compared to the cash he had access too. The money he had on him. He didn't need to sell anything for his escape money there was plenty of greenbacks available

But you realise he did not have time or the ability to take that cash with him right? You aslo remember that all of his vaults were seized right away as first target to prevent him from getting it and hundreds of millions of his private moeny was seiezed along with the countries lines of finacing that were frozen and all web access jammed so no chance to wire funds? So he elft with what he had and what he could get together on the run. I will also post once I have it again a link where it was shown the serial numbers on alot of the money was able to be traced back to origins within Iran as it was used to buy good from Iran by other countries and large bundles of cash for international usage are logged and the serial kept on record for these type of situations. Those bills if the make it back into US circulation would be flagged at banks returned to the government and burned and replaced or if needed held for evidence then burned but would not go back into circulation as they are serialed and flagged as international used USD currency. This applies to large sums no like 50 grand

Why don't we give a fuck about Darfur? Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, millions displaced... why don't we have hundreds of thousands of troops on the ground there? Why aren't we doing anything other than sending small portions of aid and miniscule amounts of cash to the area to help the millions of people the conflict is affecting?

I bring that up because earlier you stated that one of Bush's reasons for the invasion of Iraq was because he killed hundreds of thousands of Kurds, something I don't disagree with, the thing I disagree with is how you go from one guy killing a ton of people and the US stepping in and saying it's wrong, but then when some other guy does the exact same shit, even worse, the US does almost nothing and there's not a peep out of you...
