Whatever they want. So many are already buying what is being shoveled, it doesn't matter, anymore. The Bush appointed chief justice says it's legal so expect anything. They've been selling debt loaded fiat currency for a century, they're selling us "peace through war", they're selling socialism is American, they've sold us a two party system that is closed to anybody outside of that system, they've sold us that they can take from you whatever they want and they've sold us that imperialism is not that bad.

The Health Care bill sounds like socialist medicine UNTIL you hear that some people are starting to be helped by it ......More people on food stamps and welfare sounds really bad BUT there are lots of people who need it right now- the bad economy changes my view on these subjects. If the economy was fine, I would likely argue against this stuff!
Ideally we need a healthy ecomomy so people don't need medical, food and welfare assistance.....but the economy is still pretty bad and the job numbers are still horrible....so, unless the republicans can offer a better plan......ya know what I'm sayin'!!

^^^I recieved a check for $300 under the Bush admin, not from Obama. It's not like the idea is something new. It's not limited to democrats and Obama........I think the unemployed, uninsured and generally poor people need help right now. Send a check to that broke single mom who can't feed and clothe her kids...but I don't need any $$$

if you worked, obama's legislation saved you $400 a year for each year you worked.
if you were unemployed, obama's legislation exempted the first $2400 of you UI from taxation.
there were also other tax breaks. obama just doesn't brag about them like shrub did.

although, you could have taken advantage of tax incentives energy efficient appliances, a new car, or a new home.
and also, if you are retired and on a fixed income and depend on assistance for food, there was help in that department.
and if you wanted to do community service jobs, there was help there as well.
not to mention the $250 check retired people received. did you send yours back?
