Ok, I haven't heard this before. If we restrict benefits to people making less than 108k/year then it is sustainable, is that what you're saying or am I way off? Maybe that's a reasonable approach. But, do the people making over 108k still have to contribute to the program even though they don't get to participate in the benefits? Elaborate if you would.
Not feeling it on the 'everyone into medicare'. Still not on board with the national healthcare thing. The countries that have it seem to have exorbitantly high rates of taxation, like 70% in some cases. I'm really not cool with giving more than 25% (state, federal, embedded & sales combined) of my income to the government. They should be able to operate on less than that, anything more is due to waste and overreach.
