It's important because the campaign has been denying it vehemently all along. They could not even bring themselves to admit he was born a Muslim after it was revealed. If it's no big deal, why try so hard to deny it?

bc he has to hide his real self and exploit his political self.he has to do what he has to do to win,he will do as he says.

if he said his true beliefs on the public scale than that would make him look unprofessional.he is smart and knows what hes doin.give him some time and he will prove to be a worthy adversary

He already is an adversary. Guy's a nut job, socialist to the core, and he probably prays to Mao and Stalin, not to God or Allah.

There is no such thing as god or allah or any other god,bc a "god" has no definitive shape,color,form or religious background,they are all the same,its just that we truly cannot define god or say that god is gods name,ect. everyone originated from the same place,a sperm and a egg.religion and churches ect, are just a place to follow a "cult" leader,organized religion is nothing more than a cult so thus being said,you can not base someones "religious" background against yours and use that to "bash" someones political views,you actually have to listen to the guy very carefully and feel what he feels,and listen to what he says.obama knows whats wrong with this country and he wants to do something about it and make it better,that is what a true american does, if he didnt want to change the country for the positive than he would easily loose. I could care less whether Obama is a muslim or a christian I just thought the redubbed interview was pretty funny.

Well, ya know, if people called me a Jew ten million times, and I heard I was a Jew every time I turned on the TV, I might slip once or twice and call myself a Jew too. (Not that there's anything wrong with Jews!)
