Ny seedlings seem too long and are leaning a bit

Hey guys so im a first time grower! Growing under a 600w LED runnins my plants on a 16/8 cycle right now, they have been potted for 6 days and have been sprouting very fast! However Ive been reading and it seems like I may have seedling stretch? Any ideas on how to fix this?
I have a few which are leaning over a bit at the too, is this because they are to top heavy? Or should I start feeding nutrients? Ive been only doing the PH water with the organic soil

Seedling stretch is common and not really something to worry about in the early stages of their life As long as you have appropriate lighting and it appears that you do. However there are lights that are better suited for seedlings and will help prevent stretching but once the plant develops more it should stop stretching so much, at that point just add a little more soil to the top to make up for the stretch and she should stop reaching so much. But I wouldn't worry too much at this point.

Not seeing anything abnormal about them, however in my experience, 5" is a bit too close for a 600 W blurple. Can I have a little bit of specs regarding the light:
  • Who is the manufacturer of that LED?
  • What is the true wattage?
Im using a Giixer 600w LEDs Watt:600W Power:70W Main LED Chip Spectrum: 410nm-800nm full spectrum Input power: 100-240VAC 50/60Hz Power Factor: >0.9
It was it only pulls 70 watts from the wall

... it only pulls 70 watts from the wall ...
Thanks for the info.
  • Raise the light to about 12" and turn both VEG and BLOOM switches on. Even in VEG, having the red side of the spectrum is beneficial. With the first set of serrated fan leaves poking through, having both switches on right now won't harm them girls.
  • Start with 1/2 strength veg nutes once the first full node has fully opened up. I would estimate 1 more week before that time.
  • Pulling 70 wall watts and putting a 600w label on the light is very .. umm ... shall we say misleading. I have 520 wall watts in my 2 x 4 for two (2) plants so that one light is not going to do much with 6 plants. What is the size of your grow area?

Little stretchy but they look happy.I start seeds in beer cups filled only half way this way if i get any stretch like what you have i can just fill up the rest of the cup.Waalaa.....no floppy stalk.

They respond quickly when they like their environment. A couple of other things to consider.
  • Small oscillating fans will help to stiffen the stalks and branches as they grow. They can stay on 24/7.
  • Minimum 40 watts / square foot of grow space. That was why I asked how large was your grow space.
With a good growing environment, even bag seed can produce some pretty good bud.
