Just reminded me of Fight Club, "His name was Robert Paulson", gotta love non sequiturs.

and obama is supposed to be black, and an old slang/derogatory term for blacks is money/ape/gorilla, etc.... we all understand what you are sayin, but we are asking why do you automatically assume that it is racist in purpose???

Besides its funny...racism is part of our culture.

the person who drew that, is known for offensive images, thats pretty much all he draws.

im not saying it wasnt intended to be... but that is the joy of political cartoons, they usually let you draw your own conclusions about what it really was meant to convey

Actually, Pelosi's office "wrote" the stimulus bill.

There was also a recent national news story regarding a crazed, xannied out chimp that needed to be shot.


I think it's a reference to that, albeit a lame one. Also the old anecdote "like it was written by a bunch of monkeys" or something like that. The word or image of a monkey does not automatically equate to black people, unless you're racist.


Anyways, shitty cartoon. Kind of reminds of the seinfeld episode with the nyt cartoon that made no sense.

just to let you know, im a "minority", though im not african american. im very open-minded, and im all for equality.

i know how political cartoons work, but this is the most outrageous thing i have seen, and it disgusts me.
