NuWave for curing

Ok so I just started my first grow. I'm using a modified space bucket, and I'm trying to decide whether using a NuWave for curing my crop when it's finished is a viable option.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the NuWave, it's a countertop oven that combines convection, conduction, and infared to cook food. it works very evenly and never seems to burn food and even extracts moisture. Opinions?

If necessary I'll air dry it, but I was just wondering if anyone could offer any insight on this.

I definitely wouldn't stick your harvest into a space age oven lol.
I would maybe stick a nug in to fuck around as an experiment, only expecting to lose that nug.

Regardless it wouldn't cure it though, maybe dry it... But way too fast for good quality budz

Curing does not involve any heat, just glass jars and time. Now I'm unsure of how that might do for your concentrates good or bad but my suggestion to you is to look into a 3-5 day dry in a paper bag with airing out every 6 hours by lightly rolling the buds to keep the ones on the bottom from getting too flat. You can hang them too on coat hangers in a warm dark closet. Then put in jars and burp every day 10-15 mins by opening the tops then roll the buds around for circulation. 3-5 weeks later you should have awesome bud to smoke.

yeah bro your talking about drying your bud with process you were thinking of trying (speed drying) at that which is bad for drying/curing proces. curing doesnt require heat like greenstick 85 just stated above. deff do some more research before attemping drying/curing. would hate to see you waste all your time and effort and ruin your dry/cure process and be stuck with bad smelling/tasting bud

Speed drying is fine for a few popcorn buds that may shrink to the size of a pea when dried in the oven at about 200 degrees for about 15 mins. It's making it smokeable but no way in hell is it a comparison to weed cured the right way. Honestly take some pictures of your buds, we'll show you how it's done.

I find it much better to slow dry and especially slow cure, that is we're it all comes together, the curing.

I forgot to add this, after drying your buds, put them in jars, insert a Boveda Humidipak 8 gram 62 humidity pack, available online for about 1 dollar each, eliminating the need for constant burping of your jars.

Microwave ovens dry the snot out of 'em real quik too:)

the longer it takes to dry it the better, but if you slow dry it in the dark for 7 days you wont regret it. speed drying it ruins it. buzz isnt nearly as good
