Nutrients? My plants are about a month old now...

Just had some problems with my plants in the last few days. Not sure what to do. The leaves were turning yellowish with some dead ends. I started these plants in miracle grow mix soil before I knew that was a bad idea. I then transplanted them in top soil. We just flushed them to try and flush out any miracle grow nutes from the pots. Now that they are a month old, should I be adding any nutes? If so what kind, how much, and how often. Also how often should they be watered and how much water each time? If I should be adding nutes now, where can I get them and what should I be looking for? Can I just go the the local Home Depot or flower shop?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Find a hydro shop, or online get a bottle of Fox Farm Grow Big for veg (16-20$) then for bloom get Tiger Bloom. You will be very happy you did after first feeding.

I have fed the plants with grow big last nigh. I mixed 1 teaspoon with one gallon of water. I watered each plant with 200 mL. Is that about right? Should I water 200 mL every plant every night or more or less?

Thanks for the help!

So is that a good amount to water every day in a 2 gallon soil pot?
You shouldn't water everyday. The way I do it is to water untill you get water out the bottom of the pot. Then you don't need to water agian for 2 or 3 days. Once the soil is dry about 1" down, or when the pot feels light agian.

Hope that helps.:peace:

If you water everyday your roots don't get a chance to dry out and get air.
200 ml is not very much and will probably never reach the bottom of the pot were the newer roots need water and nutes just as bad.:peace:

Even though I only use 200 mL? I still shouldn't water every day?
always water tell youget a good runout, let soildry out some be4 you water again. watering every day is keeping the soil wet and not alowing oxegen to the roots.
