Nutrients for the Beginner ???

I am wondering if someone/anyone/everyone will give any suggestions as to the easiest nutrients to use for the beginner.

I know that there are a TON of opinions on the BEST nutrients to use in a hydro system so I am NOT asking what the best nutes are. I am simply asking for opinions on the easiest to use for beginners.

Would it be liguid or solid/powder ???

Organic or non organic ???

I have read, read, and read some more and am just confused at the overwhelming choices and don't know where to start. I have seen alot using the GH flora series, some use Fox Farms, some use Technaflora, some use Ionic and I am just confused.

I know I will experiment with different ones in the future but I need a good easy beginners to start with. ANY and ALL suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try the DNF A&B or Super A&B formulas. They have a two part grow and a two part flower formula. Just add equal parts of A and B, instead of the standard 3 part formulas.

alright, I use B.C. GROW, BLOOM and BOOST. its just three gallon jugs. Add them after about two weeks of growth, like 1/4 strength.. getting a little stronger all the time. all you need is a PPM reader.

Technaflora now has out a success start kit. It contains all the nutrients you will need from start to finish in a little suitcase box thing with directions and everything you need...works awesome...tried it, liked it. The big tomato hydro shop has the kit and it is only like 30 bucks. great for a starter

I used the GH Flora three part system on my first grow. They have an online calculator for planning your mix:

GENERAL HYDROPONICS

This is my first grow ever; I never even tried soil, and I'm very happy with the results. I have hit the planned PPM on every mix using the online guide. Grow log is in my sig.

Good luck.

If growing in hydro,
you can't get much simpler than an A+B VEGA/GROW nutrient solution for growing (18/6) plants, and an A+B FLORES/BLOOM nutrient solution for flowering (12/12) plants. Apply equal quantities of both A and B nutirnts. I use Canna Aqua A+B VEGA and Canna Aqua A+B Flores.
When the seedling/clone is a week or 2 old just give 1/4 strength nutrients, then gradually work your way up to full strength over the next couple of weeks. Switching to Flowering (12/12) i start with full strength A+B Canna Flores. At the beginning of the third week before Harvest, if you like you can add an additive like Canna PK13/14 to boost bud production.

Also, if you use inorganic nutrients, you can use H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) to deal with algae and pathogens.

Thanks so much for all the replies. I have been looking mostly at the GH nutes but am confused between the liquid and the powder nutes.

Does anyone have an opinion on the GH Maxigro, Maxibloom, and Koolbloom powders from GH ??? I hear they PH balance the water automatically, is that true ???

Do the liquid flora series from GH automatically PH balance the water ??? Are the liquid flora series nutes organic or NON organic ??

Thanks again for all the replies.

Never used.. no idea. I can say from experience with other nutes that those probably don't automatically balance PH.. they have to either make it go up or down. So really it depends on where you started. Regardless you can try to grow without PH meters.. I've seen successful grows W/out it.

im a beginner too what i did and my recomendation is just go to your local hydroponic store and ask! they know what your talking about, i ended up buying their generic nutrients a lot cheaper, 30 bucks for all purpose grow and all purpose bloom both have 2 parts.

as for using it, i just put one ounce of part one one ounce of part 2 per gallon and i have been it work

I do not have a local hydro store, I have no one within a 200 mile radius to ask, the closest hydro store to me is about 3 hours away.
