Nutrients and Supplement's Dwc & Genral Advice

Hi Everybody

Looking for some advice on Dwc nutrients and supplements, this time round i have had a few problems but seem to have it under control now thanks to members.

Next time round i have decided to change my buckets to totes 57ltr so assuming that will give a res of around 40ltr.

These will have ice probe chillers to help cool the solution i have picked up from reading, i need to be at around 68f for optimum growth and no plythium or should i aim lower.

I wanted some advice on nutrients that would help cause less problems or should i stick to H&G, The plan next time was to run.

Botanicare - Hydroguard
Aqua Flakes A&B
GH Liquid KoolBloom
H&G Bud xl
H&G Booster

Being new to this i want to try and keep things simple with good results any advice would be great.

One other thing based on 5 wk veg and 10 wk Flower could you change the solution every 2.5 wks in veg and every 2 in bloom

Will net pot size determine the size of the finishing plant ?

if anyone could help direct me to what stages of the cycle i need to run these nutrients, that would be great. sorry for all the questions i have just had a really bad first run and would like to iron these problems out next time.

i would test that out first before you start a grow. make sure those probes can keep your solution around 65 to 68F especially when lights are ON.

never used H&G but have heard they are good nutes. be carefull with all those additives too. only thing i use is base nutes( GH flora duo), silica and cal/mg if needed.

i was going to run a test and see how they get on empty i may need to get 2 more probes and run 2 to each tote

already noted about the additives rkymtnman, that was my problem this time, thats why im asking this time i want to keep it as basic as i can.

want to get it right this time.

here's my lineup: simple and works perfect for me

i use HTH pool shock for a sterile res. (0.30 grams per 10 gallons water)

flora duo A&B at 1:1 ratio veg and 1:3 ratio bloom

silica 1mL/gal at start and then 2mL

cal/mg 4mL/gal at beginning when EC is low. when EC is 1.0 or above, no more cal/mg unless plants need it

that's it.
need a good pH meter, a decent EC meter.

so in theory i could just cut back to

Aqua flakes A&b

silica (urtica)

& hydroguard (preferred) or pool shock

not using cal/mag as running tap water but have some just incase.

you talking about flora duo? 1:1 A&B for veg, 1:3A&B for bloom.
