Nutrients and additives?

I use general hydro nutrients and was wondering if I was supposed to be using something along with Floranova grow and floranova bloom? I don't want to use too much and cause any strain or stress to my plants by over fertilizing. People are always suggesting things but they all seem to do the same thing and I don't want to over do it.

Nobody??? All the experts on here and somebody can't spare some expertise??? LOL! No really though I would really appreciate some advice/help.
