I got some plant food from the home depot it is called Vigoro (flower & vegetable). they are little balls that u mix in the soil, it is time released. The N-P-K is 17-17-17. Is this safe to use?

I HAVE NOT MIXED YET. IS THERE ANY OTHER NUTRIENT PRODUCTS I SHOULD GET?

the problem with time release is you now cant fertz on a regular basis 'cause you now have all that time release stuff messing up your schedules. and how much is released and when and what is actually released? see, all these unknown factors will play hell with your grow schedule. I use 'schultz liquidplant food plus' at 10-15-10 for vegging and Miracle Gro plant food (or bloom booster when i can find it) for flowering which is where I am at right now. this stuff is rated ast 24-8-16, high in nitrogen for flowering. Both are available at my Home Depot even in winter here in the NE US. i am sure I'll get stomped on by the 'pros' who will condone my stuff, but I use what i can afford and what is available legally here in the US.
