Nutrient/soil question

I am growing in soil indoors, I can organically create soil but I am unsure wether this soil will last from germination to flowering without me having to add anything?

I have thought about using chemical fertilisers, would this be a better alternative? with chemical fertilsers do you have to add the stuff gradually throughout the grow?

you give up after 5 hours?
fuck man what happens when your plants take MONTHS to bud
Gonna give up then?

stop your crying and search out the answer, surprising what you will learn.

if you are growing with organic soil you want organic nutrients not chemicals.

You can use something like Schultz 20-20-20 for vegetative growth after they are 3 weeks old. Just make sure you use only a teaspoon per gallon about once every 1-2 weeks. And for flowering you can use Shultz bloom plus 10-54-10 (1/4 teaspoon per gallon) every other watering. I have had beautiful results with this brand.

Wait wait wait, does anybody even know how or why to use fertilizers in soil anymore ?

You dont just dump shit in beacuse the plants went from veg phase to bud,or reading some manufacturer feed chart that says to dump excessive nutes in with every watering.

The question asked isnt as simple as ya,go ahead & use this brand, its about the soil & how long a well mixed soil will last without having the soil become baron & starve the plants.

Look here bud, since you say you can make soil then i take that you understand exactly what amendments to use, with that being said its highly unlikely you will need a full time fertilizer.

Do some reading on organic tea recipies that allow you to feed & nuture the soil so it dont become baron, instead of just randomly dumping shit in & hoping for the best, this forum is full of HELP MY PLANT IS DYING threads from new growers following manufacturer feed charts & generic advice.

Either use a high nutrient soil from the start & nuture/feed the soil to keep it productive or start with a relatively nutrient baron soil mix ,then use fertilizers to feed the plant, most new growers do not possess the skill needed to use both at the same time without disasterous results.

very well said man give the plants what they need there is no sense in just giving plants stuff that they arent using you will just end up burning them

iF you plan on feeding your soil you will need to acquire a TDS and a PH meter i do not recommend the drops as they are not perfectly accurate and require multiple testing attempts.

Tbh if you keep tabs on the water your feeding them ensuring proper ph as well as a clean water supply (150tds or lower) you should be fine start it without this in mind and not overdoing the lights to keep your temps below 80. Feed when your plants ask.. not everyday. less is always more
if you accomplish all this then most beginner mistakes have been solved
