Nutrient question

So I am day 30 flower using DTW hand feeding Lucas formula 5.5-6.0ph with 6 plants 2 HPS room stays below 75 degrees, plenty of air circulation adding (General hydro line) 5ml micro/10ml bloom per gallon + 5ml CaMg per gallon and the recommended Orca (Great white line pricey but hear good things) when reading about the Lucas formula it says to up nutrients to 8ml micro/16ml bloom per gallon.

But my plants over the past week have been taking a dive, but when I tried upping nutrients at the beginning of flower I went to 6ml/18ml +5ml to gradually move it up and I was seeing slight burnt tips so I strayed back to the veg formula. Over the past week I have even started cutting it back more because I was seeing signs of to much N (I think) hooking fan leaves, some leaves darker then others, and shortly after that I started seeing small yellow dots which were towards the top halves of the leaves.

Now I have been notorious for underfeeding my nutrients just from being scared to kill burn them badly, but I have some pictures that are with HPS on I will add pictures tonight when my lights go out with just flash on so you can see better, but any and all insight will be incredibly helpful, thank you.

definitely nute burn. see yellow/brown tips.

are you using RO water with Lucas?

5/10 is the low light version for Lucas, not for vegging. i'm at high altitude and i never could get up to 8/16 without burning the shit out of my plants. i was at 4/8 or 5/10.

i'd give a 24hr flush with plain 5.8 water. then start back on 3/6 for a few days then go up to 4/8 and see how they do. you can also cut your cal/mg back to maybe 2 or 3 mL/gal too.

Thanks! Yes I use 5-7ppm RO water and I started my flush this morning ill try lowering my solution, hopefully will be able to post photos of them in a few days back on track!

no problem! started with Lucas and still use it many yrs later.

when you run out of the flora micro and bloom, think about trying out the flora duo series a&b. use at 1:1 for veg and then switch over to 1:3 for flower and it's the same ratio as Lucas. mixes up clean too so no root staining.

Wow that's awesome definitely something I will give a shot! I hate seeing my roots look brown and wonder if something is wrong! lol
