nutrient question

hey everyone i already ordered my seeds im mixing my own soil and im thinkin of getting the flora series for nutes but since its a hydroponics nutrient can i still use it on soil or no? the nutrients is the only thing im not to certain on iv looked threw the site and searched on nutes and didnt find to many on the ones im interested in..any help is apreciated

I believe that since hydro nutes are complete nutrition, they are not good for soil.

get the specific nute for your medium. easier that way..

it is a soil grow i know people that use hydro nutes for soil
what matters is the npk

if you have no choice in the matter, funds/availability/etc., then by all means, use what you got! but if you're able to get whatever you want, use medium specific!

im sure big bloom aint cheap either lol
sounds like he just likes what the description says and u can go buy that as much as the npk and additives

im thinkin of going with jacks classic for soil has anyone used this? and would the duo be the only thing i would be needing from jacks for veg to harvest???

i recently located to brazil here u find reallllllly bad /black/chemichlized trees so i now will need to grow my own
im first goin to do a soil grow then when i complete a grow ill hop on over to hydro as well to see what i can do there but i might just do both

so what im curious about is what would i be needing to grow from veg to harvest, so far this is what i kno ill be needing for both that i plan on askin my brother to bring me when he comes here ina month or so from the u.s

both will be under cfls for veg(dnt know hw much yet) and a 600w hps will be growing 2-3 plants at a time

soil:
soil nutrients (im thinkin jacks classic or a fox farm 3 for soil part)
im mixing my own soil mixed with a couple of different things perlite casting etc.


im thinkin of doing 2 DWC after first grow

hydro:
hydro nutes (flora nova or sensei a+b?)
2 water pumps
cloning gel
2 hydro kit(comes with the tubes and what i need to build DWC)
ppm tester
ph tester
ph up ph down

if im mising anything will someone point out and help a fellow n00b out first grow to come so i wanted to kno im not missing anything when my stuff gets here cuz its hard to find certain things here for growing

NO nutrients on your soil while germinating, seedlings, 1 week,2 week, until like 4 weeks or 5,look it up when to put the nutrients beacuse im not sure lol.
but i am sure not to put nutrients on the stages i just told you,hope this helps a bit, peace

yeh so i ordered my jacks classic dynamic duo 8 oz would that be enough for 1?2 grows riddleme says its lasts for plenty grows so im hopin its enough for start

thnks daniel ill be sure to be checking some more threads of yours since iv ran threw some of you stuff before on creepmode you got some nice plants my friend good job do you use dynagro or calmag? i also got both to add with the jacks classic heard it might come in handy anyone think i need any other add on threw my veg or harvest???

peaceful i think so but i dont think its 4 or 5 weeks i heard dont use nutes intill its on its 2nd week of veg or intilll it has its 4 set of leafes already and start off with small dosage of what it should really be getting like 1/4 the 2/4 and so on and by doing this soon i must get the hang on when to know whats really the limit to what i can feed

8oz. tub of each is plenty for several crops of 3 or 4 plants. The 20-20-20 doesn't have cal/mag so they may need some depending on your soil & strain. The Bloom Booster has Mg. But heres a cheap cal/mag to use. Take 1 Tbs Epsom Salt and stir into a pint of hot water till it dissolves. Then add it to 1 gallon of water. You can store it for months. Use 1/2 to 1 tsp. in a gallon of water. I either use it with the Jacks or a plain watering. Just start slow like 1/4 tsp./gallon then move up with the Jacks.

i just ordered a 8.oz cal/mag and 8.oz dynagro foliage would i use both with the jacks feed?and im ordering my jacks from amazon seein that they deliver by the 24th

I have always used the fox farm line up and have had awesome results with it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I've never used them, but I think you have to learn to read the plants. The ratio for veg is good around 3-1-2 if I remember right. Into flowering 1-3-2. Sorry but that is a hard answer to help with. I know I would never use all at once even low doses. Jack's I switch from all-purpose to bloom booster a couple weeks into flowering, then I still vary back and forth.

I heard also fox farms has good results, btw in ur past own expirience,are ur buds big and dense n frosty by using fox farms?

yes it will last forever i plan to use the duo this go around
