Nutrient levels in DWC throughout life cycle? Need help!!

Hello all,

Ive had some bad luck recently with my nutrient levels in my buckets. I am using Dyna Grow and Bloom since I am newer to all of this and the one part formula sounded a lot easier than a three part.

I am currently about 4 weeks in. Babies are just now working on their fourth set of leaves and about 3" tall.

I understand you are to start mixing in nutes when the develop the fourth set of leaves and/or when the cotyledons yellow and fall off.

For a non-recirculating system the Dyna Grow calls for 2-3 tsp per gallon.

For germ/seedlings/clones I will be running four F14T5 bulbs, for mothers they will be under a 90w LED UFO, and using a 400w system for everything else.

I am measuring TDS/EC by ppm's and using bottled water with an initial 50 ppm.

Now, my question (so i do not over fertilize.. again) is what levels of nutrients should i be running per gallon from beginning to end? seedlings, veg (beginning, mid, end if there is a diff), and flower.

I know this is a newb question and probably not worth anyones time to reply but it would be extremely helpful and very appreciated.

Hey...any question is worth our time. We are all here for the same reason...for the love of the horticulture of legal plants. Here's my opinion. As with any system, don't ever go with the maximum dose listed on the side of the bottle. Start off in the 10-20% range and slowly take it up to as high as you can without seeing over fertilization. I personally start at 30% but that is in soil. If you see over fertilization back off quickly and flush with straight water. Remember, every plant species is different and demands will vary undoubtedly. Use the label as a general guide so in veg use your grow nutes only starting at about lets say 10% max dose. If you will change your water every week or two...u can run straight water for one day then add nutes again the following day increasing the dose slightly from the previous feeding every time til u get to a dose ur plant is comfortable with. When swithching to bloom...many growers like to mix 50% grow with 50% bloom mix for the first week after changing light cycle. Then u use only the bloom nutes the same way you did in the veg cycle. Start with a small dose gradually increasing til you find your plants limit. As long as you watch the plant you'll be ok since it will tell you when there is a problem. Hope this helps and happy growin...any more ?s just hit me up.
