Nutrient deficiency? or burn?

Hey guys, I'm experiencing yellowing with burnt tips on my girl. I had her in solo cup as seedling with miracle gro potting soil that feeds for up to 6 months. I know I know, its not the best for the job that's why when i transplanted her i switched to FFOF. Now i'm having trouble distinguishing if shes getting too much nutrients from the soil that shes already rooted to or not enough. If it is lack of, i was gonna get some jungle juice started tomorrow. Any and all help is appreciated, happy smoking! :joint:

always error on under-nutes as over-nutes is much harder to overcome.

IMHO, pot plants don't need nutes for the first 3 or 4 weeks (in soil), so maybe hang back on the extra nutes.

Your plants look more like a cal/mag def than over nutes, but that's just my guess

here is a song for you ""..Flush with 3 times the volume of the pot, with air temperate Ph neutral water, allow to recover in dim light, one day or overnight......avoid feeding for 2 weeks then resume at half the current rate only resume, when you see a positive improvement....""

both Mg and FFOF are very very hot soils and I always rec. that growers dilute that 'hot' soil with 30-50% perlite, (so you may add suitable nutes later)

I'll look into that, any recommendations for remedies of mag def?

When I transplanted her into the 2 gal pots I did mix the ffof with just about 30% perlite. Will flushing it help or trigger the MG potting soil to release nutes?

If you have soft or distalled water, you may need the cal-mag supplement (several brands available) but not everyone needs it....personally it's critical for me so I'm more likely to recommend it....if you have hard water, you may not need it

a 3 gallon pot would be a better size, even for autos, bigger pot , means bigger roots, which means bigger plant ...and bigger yield on those buds, should ALL conditions be met!
..and yes any and all nutes available to the plant will be taken by the plant..."""within reason""", unlike horses, plants can be forced to drink/eat, so its vital that you wash those rootlets periodically, I flush 1x time per month at hate it!, in nature its called a rainstorm

to my blog: https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/flush-baby-flush.27513/ I'm still working on it too

Thanks Vostok,
I just flushed her out and put her back under a CFL from the LED. You did mention dim light, so i'm wondering for how long do i need her under the dimmer light?

As she drains out over the next few hours, oxygen will reattach to her rootlets , now that you have flushed any excess nutes and exudate's(sweat) away, like in a natural rainstorm she is able to take up nutes required, it will take about a week or 2 before you see any change, after all its a weed can grow anywhere
