Nutrient combo question (I know bad idea)

Correct.

Bob is a twisted ass but he knows his shit. XT gets exasperated easily but knows his shit too.

Listen closely to them and do what they say....(except doubling the 'bloom' thing)
Yes I do but there are valid reasons. I have a Chihuahua and 2 Chihuahua mixes that sometimes drive me crazy with their yapping. If you could hear what's going on in the background here. Three yapper dogs running around yapping for no reason and me yelling Shut Up!

Freaking Chi Moffia....hate em

Lol

Thank y’all foe the help. Gonna switch to the FF trio rest of this grow. What would be the koolbloom equivalent for FF? Just curious.
Should I just be staying away from bloom boosters? Seems like where I’d want to invest to get the fat colas

You can use boosters but you have to know when and even if your plant can use them. I recommend staying simple until you can have a healthy grow from start to finish without any issues. While doing that do some research on plant nutrition. What the different nutrients are used for by the plant and how they interact with one another. Not all play nice with each other and some push others out of the car.

There is plenty of free information available online. Don't believe all the nutrient company marketing about "Higher Yields" "Bigger Buds" etc... If you feed your plants incorrectly you'll get reduced yields and smaller flowers. If you feed your plants correctly you'll get those higher yields and bigger flowers without the need for some product in a bottle.

Focusing on environmental factors such as lighting, temperature, proper watering " not too wet not too dry", etc... is much more important than anything you can feed from a bottle.

Ditto that ∆

I use koolbloom in dwc in flowering as an ADDITIVE not as a bloom replacement, that's what it is and additive like calmag is an additive

Learn to grow, then start experimenting

Ngl, I knew this wasn’t going to be “easy” but I had no clue how intricate this would get. Environment has been a challenge but that’s due to my partner not wanting to use the A/c. Had to resort to straight up bribery

Yes you have , both

I'd flush her, then give a real feeding, bout 2/3 of schedule recommendation

Then do that each feeding till they recover

It's not hard at all. Plant see, let it grow, feed what they need when they need it. It doesn't take a bunch of different bottles to feed your plant. I like many others just use a dry water soluble nutrient blend with excellent results. You can use any nutrient. They thing is you don't want to overfeed too much of any nutrient. It's better to slightly underfeed than to overfeed.

Xtsho, anything I could buy or is it something you make yourself?

hardest part for me was getting environment stable (wife stays cold lol) then the humidity. Also ordered a co2 bag to hang that should be fun

I also have tiger bloom (haven’t used it came with the trio). I bought the koolbloom after the rave reviews I was seeing for it. So if I’m understanding correctly, I’m way over feeding on p/ k and need to scale back.

does this sound good?
Feed: ff bloom big, ff grow big 5 ml for next feed with cal mag and molasses (should I cut this out too?) then after a few watering start reintroducing either tiger bloom or the kool bloom? (Leaning towards tiger bloom right now)

no feed water: cal mag + molasses
Are you using RO water or rainwater? If not why all the cal mag? Calcium is a known culprit in causing nutrient lockout. Probably one of the most misused additives by less experienced growers.

I'm not going to read farther.

The use of differing products to get great results is something that does work. The thing is? You should be an advanced gardener, that has a very good understanding of the plant (and right down to the strain) and it's actual needs!
Do not go by what nutrient makers tell you about their product (news flash) MOST of them bullshit you on plants actual needs and when to apply it!

There are a few companies out there that are pretty straight forward, or have some pretty good basic feed charts for cannabis. Many are set up for blooming flowers and that burns your cannabis up fairly quick in bloom.

Let me give you a cpl of nutrient suggestions for novice cannabis growers.

BOTANICARE - KIND (line) Good stuff and charted for a good share of strains. Minor changes in feeding for some strains BUT, most of those are hard to get and/or fairly rare strains. EASY to use and at a fair price.

DynaGro Foliage pro. Here is a simple 1 (YES I SAID ONE) bottle that many still use today. This I consider a GREAT choice for novice/beginning cannabis growers.

Jack's Classic CITRUS 1/4 tsp per gallon of feed and yer done. It also contains a higher (S)ulfur content to help those smells/flavors come out better.

Last choice and the expensive one.... HESI nutrients. Drop the VIT and the ROOTS and simply buy a jug of Kelp extract. Use that at about 2 to 2.5ml per gallon. This stuff HAS bloom boosters. The thing about these guys is that they have formulated, and charted the lines to actually work.

I used this some years ago with minor dial in adjustments and had great results. I prefer the BOTANICARE KIND for any synthetic work I do now.

The bulk of what I do is full on water only, organic super soils. - I build them myself.

I see over feeding and lock outs from your feeding. Mg is one thing being severely limited by this effect. I suspect your soil Ph is out of whack from this and it just makes the problem worse.

Recover them? How about you stop feeding and simply use water Ph'ed to 6.5 with a Cal/Mg. USE a Cal/Mag product that uses calcium carbonate as the MAIN Cal source! NO CAL NITRATE ONES! I've recommended G&H Cali Magic for that for years.

After a 5-7 days go back to feeding and skip the FF stuff. It's work but, you have to know how to use it right for the NPK value it delivers.

Read up and learn.... Here, I'll give you a link to all the books you can read! Jorge, ED, Greg, all sorts of help here.

Good luck!

PS BTW, I find molasses use as not all cracked up to it's hype. SKIP it, as it CAN cause some long term issues
