Nutrient Burn getting much worse.

TRANSPLANTED INTO FF OCEAN FOREST A WEEK AGO, SINCE THEN, EDGES OF LEAVES ARE BROWN, CLAWING, AND THERE ARE SOME ORANGE SPOTS IN MIDDLE OF LEAVES. MOSTLY FAN LEAVES AFFECTED BUT SOME SMALLER SHOOTS AS WELL.

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT SHE HAS GROWN 5 INCHES TALLER IN THE PAST WEEK DURING THE TRANSPLANT SHOCK, AT THE SAME TIME THE LEAVES ARE GETTING WORSE. HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE TO BOUNCE BACK? ARE THOSE LEAVES GONNA DIE NOW OR CAN THE PLANT SAVE THEM?

when should I add nutes, it's been a week after transplanting and I haven't added anything at all yet. I have Happy Frog High Phos. Bat Guano and FF Big Bloom.

I NEED REPLIES, NOT VIEWS.

Looks like burn and maybe wet. The new soil should have nutes for 3-4 weeks.

When you transplanted into the ffof did you give it any nutes?
How big was the plant before transplant?
I transplanted seedling in 1 gallon sunshine mix 4 into a 5 gallon pot of ffof
their coming out great so far I water them once it took 8 days to dry out
then I fed 700 ppms of advance nutes cocktail they loved it~

Plant was about 24" when transplanted, DID NOT ADD ANY NUTES YET. NOW SHES 30 INCHES, BUT NUTE BURN GETTING WORSE ON LEAVES AND SPREADING EVERYWHERE, EVEN TO TOP OF PLANT.

Those are classic nute burn signs.

Some phenos(strains) like a lot of nutes and others don't tolerate them well at all. Since you planted them in soil with fertilizer it is hard to fix. You could try flushing but if they are timed release you will be wasting your time. I personally would just keep watering without ferts for a few weeks. It sounds like the plant is not impeded too much by the burn and the burn looks lite. I have had plants burn a bit and still produce really well. Just remember next time and try to use a soiless mix of dirt like sunshine #4 or pro-mix or any sphagnum with perlite combo for that particular strain.

It could be Fox Farm's famous quality control department it's been questionable for a long time for low ph and burning issues. I put my into the ffof when they were like 6"- 8" I like to have at least 2 sets of real leaves. So the ffof shouldn't of burnt it, could it be the water or the size of the pot I don't thinks it burnt more of a nutrient toxicity~

wow, you gotta be kidding me, im startin to get angry. These potheads don't answer ur questions, they just write some obvious bs. I didnt use perlite bc i only had miracle grow perlite and it has time released nutes, didnt want ot make soil worse.

Stop being a douche. You screwed up with poor drainage and hot soil. Whats the pH? You can try a tsp of blackstrap in a 1/2 gallon of water. The micro organisms may eat some of the nutes up.
All you can do is ride it out or risk another transplant to improve soil conditions. Either choice has risk.

poor drainage? pot had 7 holes in it. not to mention i stab holes from bottom in all directions before watering with skinny shishkabob sticks.

Is this because plant was rootbound when transplanted and I didnt break up the soil?

Can I start her in flowering ? If I wait a month I'm going to have problems with cold as I'm growing outdoors.

Without perlite the soil is a sponge with no air for the roots. If its outside flowering is controlled by the hrs of light unless you put them indoors at 12 hrs. The skewer can tear up the roots. I usually just tickle the roots out at transplant..some don't do it at all. We know your concerned with your plants and are trying to help. I wish you the best. Its all a learning experience.:leaf:

to start it flowering early outdoors you would have to use light deprivation- cover it for a couple hours each evening with a tarp or a hefty bag or 2. If it wasn't getting enough sunlight- 6 hours or more each day, It won't grow as well as it could. all you really need is a tall stake to protect it and a cover , if thats not an option it will just take longer.
