nutes

OK I'll give this a shot. You are overthinking fertilizing. It's really quite simple. If you are feeding according to the instructions it says, for example, 1 teaspoon per gallon: that is full strength. So in order to give 1/4 strength you will want to mix up 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. So If I have 4 plants and I know it takes about 1 3/4 gallons to thoroughly water my plants I will mix up a solution using 2 gallons of water. If I want to make the solution 1/2 strength I will put 1 teaspoon in 2 gallons of water. Water with that solution as you normally would. Make sure the pH is good first. That's it. Simple. The thing is with fertilizer is that people tend to get crazy and try to mix up super strong solutions or get teaspoons and tablespoons mixed up. If you do this your plant will get messed up. It's always best to be conservative with nutes because you can always add more if needed. If you put too much in, however, it is really difficult to remove it and it can cause all kinds of issues like pH problems, nute burn, or lockout. Hope this helps. :weed:
