Nute Advice

Greetings and salutations. I'm currently running GH Flora-Duo A & B along with most of the rest of their supplements. From what I've heard Flora Duo is being discontinued. Actually great timing as I'm pretty well out of e erything with the exception of the Cali-Magic (which I can use with whatever I switch too). This being said, what line of nutes do you use? Anyone have experience with something they would consider a game changer? I've used Botanicare Pure Blend pro in the past and was very happy with it. So really I'm just looking for info before I start vegging this round of cuts. One more thing. Does anyone have experience with these drying cabinets that refrigerated? As always, I appreciate you guys time and willingness to share your knowledge/experience. It has proven to be invaluable.

@Retired engineer has one but he's hard to get ahold of on here sometimes. He loves his Cannatrol machine and I've had bud from it. It was well dried flower and very tasty. It dries and has a storage mode if I remember correctly. I just can't swing that pricetag when drying slow at 60 degrees and ,70% humidity works well for me. Hopefully he'll chime in with details on his experience with it.

GH Maxi-Bloom start to finish is easy and works well. It comes in powder form so you aren't paying for water. There are threads here and elsewhere about using only Maxi-Bloom and the folks who try it are mostly happy. Some of the threads refer to this as the K.I.S.S. method to keep it simple. The only things I add to the Maxi-Bloom is a little silica which serves as a ph up and a bit of cal mag to avoid problems with cation exchange but some folks don't seem to think that the cal mag is not necessary since Maxi-Bloom has both in their formula.

Maxi bloom is awesome no cal/mag needed just a single powder and you can get the 16lb tubs for 72 bucks shipped that cheap. I know there is cheaper powders but most are 2 part so maxi is one of the easiest to use.

MaxiBloom, if your using RO add the calmag and some potassium silicate (Armor Si, etc) or your rootzone pH will crash, especially in coco.

I get 16 lb tubs of MaxiBloom for $90

If you have good tap water you literally only need to use maxi by itself.

p.s I used the 7g/gal many recommend and it was too strong, I use 5 grams per/gal.

I use Jack's 321 dry nutes and will NEVER go back to bottled nutes for MANY reasons!

I also have 3 Cannatrol Cold Cure units. They are AMAZING!!!

So is the maxiseries truly standalone? Or am I still going yo be using ie: Floralicious Plus, the 2 nectar, and Kool Bloom.
Or just the 2 maxis and cal mag maybe some armor si.
Just want to know what the switch actually entails?

there are lots of ways to run maxi: bloom from start to finish. grow for veg, bloom for bloom. some use 1/2 and 1/2 .

you'd be fine with just maxi and silica. doubt you'll need cal/mg
