Number of Bowls tally mark list

So, at the beginning of this year I got a great idea while toking with my friends. I just keep a piece of paper attached to our little bulletin board for marking down every bowl we smoke. And it worked perfectly since I thought of it at the beginning of the year so we can now keep track of exactly how much weed we've been smoking. And I figure I'll try to get a rounded estimate for about how much money is going to buds. What do you guys think though? I love having this list now but you really have to keep track which is hard from short term memory of how many bowls are loaded in one session lol. Anyways, let me now what you guys think.

Spend that time growing more weed :) I can't do arithmetic... adding, multiplication, subtraction, division it's pull out ye ole calculator.... so nah... just grow more weed :) you don't have to think as hard. But if you wanna integrate for the area under the canopy, I've got that! But just grow more weed, trust me you'll be happier.

Lol dually noted! I just know I grow enough to not worry about it.

Although I see where your coming from to see financials and what not. It'll pry b interesting numbers for you at the end of the years time.

i kinda don't even want to know my consumption, I smoke pretty hard, some days more than others.

Yeah I don't make enough money to be smoking tons of buds, and I can't grow at the place I'm currently living so yeahhhh thumbs up for me.

Wouldn't it be significantly easier to simply track how much weed you purchase? Keeping track of the money directly seems way easier than keeping track of bowls, and converting that to weight, and converting that to dollars. I would have to weigh the weed I smoke in a year on a bathroom scale.

I feel like this would be a really cool idea to get just a general idea of how many bowls you smoke annually or whatever but yeah to find out how much you spend on it id just keep a journal or notebook by your stash to write how much your spending every time you re-up, but definitely a cool idea. When i initially saw this thread i thought it was to tally every time you smoke out of a different bowl or bong or whatever to see how many pieces you've smoked from in whatever amount of time.

Also get a scale and weigh it before you smoke into it. The total number of grams you smoked in a year will be the total number of grams purchased in a year.

I disagree. The number of grams you smoke, plus the weight of ash will be the total number of grams purchased. Weigh the ashes and subtract that from total smoked weight to get actual weight of bud smoked. Multiply that by the circumference of my anus, and you get the total pounds per square inch one could pack in a bowl.

Ash + amount of CO2 released + amount of water vapor released - amount of oxygen consumed for combustion - energy in the form of heat* = mass of weed smoked.

*E = mc^2
