I fell for this one too. Bought several packs - Sour D , GMO , Green Crack & GG. Thought I had some good stuff; completely ignorant of threads like this out there...of course. I was just psyched since our state just went legal and....I made the purchase.
All four beans popped - really quickly in fact. I was pretty impressed ....and throughout veg things seemed pretty good. Green Crack, especially, seemed like a good pheno example; strong branches, bushy, stocky, etc. All the good stuff you'd want, right?
Roughly 17 or so days post-transition, I was admiring what was looking like the start of a massive cola on Green Crack and what did I see staring back at me? Yeah, this lovely Green Crack sprouted a nice dick in the midst of what was an otherwise decently-forming flower. WTF. I then started looking around at the other buds on this plant and...fuck....they were everywhere! Nanners just waving at me as if they had come to a show. Looking down the stems further revealed the start of nuts. What the hell man. Green Crack met the pruning shears about 30 minutes later...my prettiest plant - all of that hard work, nutes, time, love... Damn.
About three or so days later, the Sour D, GG and GMO all started busting nuts out...thankfully on the lower branches. To try to preserve and to cling onto any shred of hope of some decent nugs, I did the tweezer and magnifying glass shitshow and plucked so many nuts...omg. For weeks...thankfully towards week 8 or so they slowed down but the damage had already been done; while I felt that I removed a lot of balls - I clearly missed many and began to be greeted with seeds across most of the canopy. What a ball kick, right? Pun intended.
The GMO did get a small bit of stink towards the end...I finally whacked everyone at day 75 - poor resin production but decent sized buds...of course, with seeds throughout. GG had awesome-looking colas - big tails - but lacked any sort of a viable stink. For a GG? Really? Cmon man.
Now on the other side of the harvest and about 3 weeks into post-dry cure - the Sour D is maybe what could be deemed decent. Smooth vapor (but that's probably not so much genetics, right?) and an ok buzz...not a strong Sour D but better than schwag. Super tight nugs though and she had some good colors towards the end around day 60 or so and onwards. But a Sour Disappointment for the most part.
The real let down has been with the GG. Even after turning out to be a really pretty plant (and the "father" of most of the seeds in this harvest..smh) the smell is almost non-existent and is slightly "sweet green". I'm praying somehow that another month of curing may help but there's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig, right? At least it does give a decent buzz...cannabis confirmed, lol. But in our circle , I've redubbed this as "FAGG" - Fake Ass Gorilla Glue - as this is about as GG as an apple is to an albatross. Who the fuck knows. Pretty plant though...Apart from her dicks and nuts. Bitch.
And finally, the GMO. Pretty plant as well - small buds but with some decentish stink. Manicuring was even pretty cool - she seemed to have that special stank stink. Good buzz but ....again, here at ~3 weeks into cure, there's bag appeal, decent stink when ground up...but the taste is flatter than a pancake. Womp womp. I'm hoping and praying that curing somehow brings out some magic over the next few weeks but......not holding my breath. As such, we've renamed this from GMO to GM___NO Or GM Nope.
Either way - Nukeheads does sell what I can confirm appears to be cannabis seeds. Check. But it really sucks to have invested so much time, effort, hope and...love...only to get a fisting like this. At least I can get a buzz. And thankfully, I've moved on to another source of reputable genetics - it just sucks to have to wait another few weeks before I can make this Nukeheads harvest into mulch. Maybe nature will find it more useful as a preparatory for next year's tomato gardening boxes.
What the fuck Nukeheads. I hope the money you extracted from me went to a good cause. But worse than that is the time and effort lost. Damn it.
I hope this helps anyone who is curious or considering Nukeheads. Like you hear commercials for a deli meat company ... "Compromise Elsewhere" lol. I have photos of any/all of the experience that was this grow if anyone wants to cry in their cup with me. Just don't do it to yourself; life's too short for getting fucked by seed chuckers.
PPSS.. Got to love the seed holders that you pay for..lol
