Nugbuckets Lab

Hi Nugbuckets.

I am a newbie indoor grower and I am preparing for my first grow. I am excited to try the mainline method. I am wondering about space needed per plant. I know this may have been covered in your lab postings but going through well over 100 pages of this group to find that info is rather laborious. Using https://www.rollitup.org/attachments/subcools-old-school-organics/2183945d1337973985-nugbuckets-lab-8heads-24days.jpg as a reference I would think that the grow bag is 12 inch in diameter with plant top taking up 18-24 inches diameter. Does that sound about right. I have 4.5' x 6' of light footprint to work with and, of course, would like to maximize yield for that space. How many would you grow in such a space?

Thanks for your great work in development of this grow method.

The diameter of the canopy will depend on how many head your mainlining for. Theres also a separate mainlining thread that will answer any question you can think of

I will be working with 16 colas per plant. I have seen pics in Nugbucket's tutorial that show 16 head mainline plants that spread to a diameter not much wider than the pot/ growbag in which they are planted. That is why I am asking Nug for the diameter of the pot. The picture I referenced is that of one plant on a deck. If the deck is built with 2 x 6 boards then I can assume my guess is good for space per plant. But if those are 2 x 8 boards then I would be off a bit.

He doesn't come here much if at all but i would say try 4 16 headers but if you want plenty of room around each only do 2, if you had 6' all the way around you could do 4 no problem its the 4.5' that I'm not sure if that going to be enough room, if it is it may be tight

Nugbuckets, your a master of symmetry, nug buckets you make geometry, art and dank come all together, hope you re activate the thread.. thanks for sharing I had an amazing 7 days going over the thread!

I thought I did some kinda mainlining and had some doubts about it, but after the pics and your short explanation on symmetry questions have been answered for a while,
have a happy juicing n tokin

Nug where you at in the good ol UP. It's great to have a fellow yooper who does such a great job. We need to get in touch man as I feel we think alike in terms of meds. I got a great strain of sour grapes that is killer. Would love to exchange. I get 5-6 zips with minimal training every time and the smoke is amazing in the exhale. Also have 2 phenos of the amazing vortex with 2 female time wrecks just going.

Bend over and I'll show ya whats a dickfor! LUL IDK he just rubbed me the wrong way. But from what I'm seeing is that he hasn't others so I'll just leave it at that. He does great work and is an excellent grower.

Hey nugs I have been reading and reading on your artful passion and am truly inspired. I just started growing(by just started I mean 8 days ago) I am experimenting with DIY hydroponics bubble buckets. I am planning on using your main-lining technique to keep my plants canopy even and manageable. How long do your grows take from seed to harvest and how much do you yield? I'm very excited to do this project and am hoping it can be therapeutic in its process. Thanks so much for your generous out pouring of knowledge. If you'd like to see my setup I have pictures at: https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/801539-anyone-bubbleponics-pro.html
