now what?

i don't like to be more than an hour away from home so traveling is usually a no go. i've been in too many situations in my life where i just needed to "get out" and i couldn't. trapped at parties because i rode with friends. kidnapped by friends for days because they wanted playmates. things like that. so i like to stay close to home so i can "just go" when i feel the need. i love "running home". it feels so safe here. :)

You said in another thread that you were going to put up a greenhouse.... how about you start working on that.... look at some plans on-line and take a trip to Home Depot.

Shit fdd,i have so many stupid hobbies i cant get the time to do them all,find something your interested in from your childhood,like model cars or collecting rare hotwheels cars,erector sets,gi-joe's,autographs ect,any hobby that involves collecting rarities can usually fill the void with time spent crusing ebay trying to make deals on a new accusition.

When i run out of interesting things to do, or im tired of my hobbies i hit the pawn shops & used record stores to work on getting must have albums for my music collection.

Its obvious you like music if you play guitar,why not cruise ebay & put yourself together a stereo system out of vintage pioneer or marantz gear that we all had when we were kids,it's became a highly collectable & desireable hobby to be in,not to mention that the stereo gear back then was way better than what we can buy at stores today,better quality,better sounding & better looking too.

i went to the parts store to get new fuel line for my seadoo. dude behind the counter said "what size?" i said, "i'll be back". :roll:


i went to the guitar store to look at new guitars. they had crap for nothing.


i got gas and mailed a few letters.

man, sometimes them damn horse buggie things take up the WHOLE SIDE OF THE ROAD... especially on sundays.

I retired early in life fdd and was faced with the quandary of running out of stuff to do....we did the travel bit for six years...3 ,4 ,5 week cruises, European weekends whenevah we felt like it.....I still ended up bored. What saved me from a life time of nappies is photography. I love it!!! Buy some kilns and throw some pottery!! Either way pick up an art or a language....it'll fill your time with something worthwhile. Of course, there's always the stock market .. :lol:
