My seeds have finally germed. Now I am curious, do I point the little white tip up or down into the soil? My friends say up and down. (some say up soem say down) and idk which is better, so i figure why not ask the people who actually grow. thanks :)

The white tip is called the tap root, and it goes in 2 seeds (sideways) deep. Tap root faces down. Then put under a light (T5) 24" below. MH 24" and off to side. Cfl ???

The white part is both the root and the main stem. The seed shell contains what will become the embryonic leaves, so you want that part pointed up, the root tip down. Of course, seeds will almost always figure this out on their own because they re-orient themselves towards the sun based on gravity.

Just don't uncover it once it's in the soil! I killed one of my first three before it even had a chance by doing this.
