I can't believe it, I heard it, but I still can't believe it. Obama wants a 5% National Sales Tax so he can reduce the debt that HE created. If he does this he will be a one term president. (President spelled with no cap on purpose).

the debt he created??? you mean the unfunded tax cuts to the rich, unfunded wars, and unfunded expansion of medicare he inherited???

the majority of the debt obama has accrued has come in the form of TAX CUTS to the MIDDLE CLASS during his stimulus....

This problem has been growing for the past 40-50 years.

Once the entitlement programs started, the politicians didn't know how to turn them off, they still don't.

i think china will take over the u.s in some years,cuz they are the ones who let the u.s borrow money for this debt i guess they got tired of lending money. so now obama is taking it out on us. they should stop giving money to those ppl who get money from the gov. they just chill at home n get money.

If obama implements this... he will never be reelected, i doubt if anyone would support him. And im sure alot of people would hold protests... personally i think its kinda unconstitutional. The only way they'd get me to pay is if they write it into the constitution.
