Cheers - pinched it and fingers smell like weed not grass , seems really dry tho but still has leaves on it, thinking (hoping and praying lol) it gonna be fine and thanks W for cure into
The outside will feel crunchy but don't let that fool you. The indie will still be moist if those stems aren't snapping. Do you have hydrometer ready for the jars? That is the easiest way to know if it's ready to be jarred.

the buds should feel really dry on the outside when its ready to trim and jar. still plenty of moisture left inside that will spread evenly once its jarred. waiting for the stems to snap (as in make a firm snapping noise, not actually break) is usually a good marker.

For a actual full proper cure. Proper being the operative word. 3 months is where it lands.

Doesn't mean you can't smoke it as it's curing. After about 2 weeks it will be mmmmky.

3 months it will taste and smell like it came from the dispensary. If it was cut at the right time and dried correctly.
I'm with you down this entire thread. Solid advice as always. I've been guilty of not letting the bud dry correctly. It felt too dry to me on the outside, but the stems didn't snap.
I've also harvested too early, and ruined the bud, but I got some s1's out of it. This last harvest I let one dry too much, and I let one not dry enough. Both smokes hit. I've tried all 4 of them already. For some autos.. if they lack potency.. I can't wait til my Photoperiod plant is done.
