Well, figured it's about time I come in here and end out this thread. While the season wasn't all I hoped I'm not unhappy with the outcome. I was shooting for a 3-4lb average and ended up close to a 2lb average with my largest couple going about 4.5 each. The giant Sativa pheno ended up not finishing before a major freeze ended my season. I remember someone predicting early on that my smaller starts would finish better than I expected and they were right. My biggest Orange Skunk yielded as much as my best plant from the early starts. I mostly blame grower error as it was the reveg that really shaved the weeks that allowed the smaller plants to catch up.
I was also really bummed out to find that a couple of my larger pots had been underwatered all summer long which, as it turns out, explains the runts of the bunch. When I went pulling on the stalks after harvest, I found the top 6-8 inches of soil lifting right up with the roots. Upon further inspection, it was obvious the bottoms of the pot were never really wet. The roots were curled to stay in that upper moist area in the soil. I'm sure the late addition of peat bit me in the ass and I should have pre-soaked the pots much better before planting. I'd say live and learn but fcked if I shouldn't have known better already. Guess it's REALLY pounded into my skull now!
All in all, I learned a bunch this season and I'm already planning for next season. I'll be shooting for the same average with a much better idea of how to make it happen!
I'll get back in here with some pics soon, thanks for following along and all the feedback and pointers!!
