Note to self thread

I have a sense of humor. What I don't understand is posting completely made up threads about cheating on your wife with strippers and your nonexistent niece that somebody even made a name for and posting in the thread. You told me yourself in your own words both threads were completely fake and you were trolling. What purpose does this serve honestly from a grown ass married man? It's a grow forum with some really good folks here why mess it up with total fake ass shit?

When shit is funny I laugh like everyone else. I don't find chat bordering on sick situations with an underage little girl remotely funny even if its made up. Karma has a way of coming back around for ya. Just sayin.

What you put out there always comes back.

Odd threads that are completely made up just to get some kind of reaction is just Mylie Cyrus Attention Whore Syndrome.

Just explain why you feel the need to do this shit? I am being completely honest, I thought you were this really smart guy with good advice and was giving you rep left and right til you posted two of these dumb threads in a row and admitting they are fake.

Pardon me if I am not the only one finding this shit a tad odd and wondering why?

Normally, I'd just give a post like this, something like this

but, tonight, I will entertain the question with a more thorough response.

You are relatively new here and do not quite understand how it goes in the TNT forum. This is a grow site, with plenty of subforums for growing Q&A. There are also subforums for sports, philosophy, legal, etc. There is a wildly popular section for politics (enter at your own risk). That forum is like a pack of hyenas, or a school of pirhanas (whatever gives you the visual of fisticuffs and gnashing teeth grinding both flesh and spirit), and for what? A two party system that is designed to divide and conquer (as evidenced by the continued downward spiral of our country despite which party is actually in office)? People lose their minds over there. Where's the outrage? This is the forum where people come to laugh and have some fun, toke and talk. I have been here for some time and have earned the right to be silly now and again. The older heads get it and, I believe, appreciate the levity from time to time, as this place can get a little monotonous. Should we all just stay in the right lane and follow the car ahead of us?

What about my needs to be creative? I need to blow off some steam too.

Much love,

Clayton Bigsby

To be honest, IMHO it is akin to taunting idiots.
The best bite in a thread like this is to cause someone to really contradict ones-self.

Look back into the thread and try and catch some of the subtleties - once you get a fix on some of the personalities you can pull some strings.

I'm not saying its right, and I've never really played like this - but I do understand how it works sometimes.

Walking on Campus is like fucking time machine. Except now there's beards with the flannel and usually accompanied by oversized 80's glasses without lenses. I also saw a kid with a jean jacket vest, patches and all with a black painters hat that had the ST written on the flipped up brim. I agree with Mike Patton when he asked "what fucking decade is this? Wofmother you suck!"

Stewie! That definitely took me back and people complaining cause all they got was a busy signal when trying to call my house. Damn good old AOL we got it in Feb of 98 on a brand new gateway puter that seemed really smoking fast at the time which compared to now was about like a snails pace. Since I am a music fanatic I of course was always downloading songs and it would take ALL NIGHT to load them so I would do that when I was in bed.

I remember feeling a great victory cause somebody taught me how to fix the strings or something where it wouldn't make that stupid noise signing on.

Note to self: You've come a long ways baby! haha

Kinetic got me thinking, I've been wondering cause I must be out of the loop with younger folks but what is with the beards? I mean I lived thru the first era of long hair and beards and it was the norm to see it everywhere then. But these hipster dudes with their little page boy caps, big ass beards and folk tune bands like Mumford and Sons are just everywhere you go now. A friend of mine that was the most metrosexual, dressing preppy and fancy kinda dude grew this huge beard and at 32 it had tons of gray in it. It made him look twice his age and he just shaved it off recently and looks so much younger.

Does anyone know what started this latest trend in big ass beards?

lol naw you don't have to shave I just wondered whats with all these younger guys growing giant old bushy beards like its some kind of fad?

Duck Dynasty shit is so fake this video made me laugh. They are a bunch of preps that assume the redneck image and some seem to be gluing on their beard.

They have people so fooled and anytime ya go in walmart the shit is everywhere, tshirts, hats, they are making a killing being fakes!

I grew up around country ass rednecks, they are rednecks for life. Not preppy guys with frosted hair that assume an identity. Its really genius because nobody will recognize them without the beards when they are out and about.

Alot of my closest friends have had beards for a long time. They also have been known to smell like patchouli from time to time. Growing up around bikers a few of my "uncles" always had beards.

Note to self:Call some old friends tomorrow.

LOL dammit I will always love the smell of patchouli, it takes me back in time with every single whiff.

Note to self: break out the patchouli incense and remember the old days!

PS my dad was a street rod/bike builder, my first memories in life are riding on the gas tank of a panhead chopper with repent and the grim reaper painted on the tank!

I shower every day with patchouli soap. Sure brings back some wonderful memories.

My first 'real' engineering job. Sorry about the AOL ....... I still remember the song written about the 19 hour outage, it celebrated my promotion party :)

You've already had the best answers but it's a form of satire and hysterically funny if you've had to work the communities for awhile and are familiar with the social milieu patterns. Absolutely some of the funniest shit ever. I love it. Once you've been in a community long enough you can even identify who Clayton is channeling at any one moment. That stripper thread had a definite Beardo flavor, but Clayton left out the GGAllen reference. He doesn't make it easy.

Clayton is the Scrabble Word score anti-troll weapon (think about it LOL).

I was an admin at a huge world wide forum for several years and left it because of the excessive trolling and nobody would do anything about it. It ruined the place and less people post there now than ever. I flew across the world and met several of these folks at real Toke and Talks at coffeeshops. I am more than familiar with forum communities and see what a toll trolling takes on the place.

What I don't understand here is why its ok for some to troll and then tell others you are reported for spam and trolling. Trolling is trolling. Period. Do as I say not as I do. I see trollers telling other trolls they are going to be banned for the same shit they are doing on a daily basis.

I just stopped reading all that garbage cause all I take away from it is another place for people to bitch, argue and stir the shit. If that's people's thought of a good time then have at it. I don't get it but to each their own. At this point I really don't give a shit, I asked, he answered we moved on.

Note to self: Go smoke another joint and listen to some tunes.
