Watered the plant on whatever day.. Later on that night i topped it due to a happening. I'm sure topping it caused some stress, but now it's droopy. However, it's growing in many new places (healthy), but i feel like it needs watered or something, but its only been 3 days since last watered. Mainly i'm saying this because once watered the leaves are ridged and stiff, but i'm not sure what it needs.. perhaps time?

Well the soil can still be wet in the other 7 3/4" of the pot!

You can get a cheap $5 moisture meter from Lowes, or you can water based on pot weight. Feel the weight of the pot immediately after you water. It will be heavy. Then wait for it to get light--really light--almost like there is nothing in the pot, and then you know its time to water.

If you don't water for a few days and the leaves start drooping, it means the plant is thirsty. As a plant gets bigger it uses more water, which is why you don't water on a set schedule.
