Not sure what to do with this young lady, never thought I would have a need to say those words even as a kid.

Good afternoon growers. I have come looking for some advise. I finished up my first plant which was a free Northern Lights seed and was reasonably pleased for my first ever attempt. When it was dried it came in at 3.5 oz and is currently curing. I grew her knowing pretty much nothing but have done a ton of research and wanted to get the kinks worked out before I did a larger grow. Other than a bit of tip burn it came out pretty good and so I started a 2nd plant part way though.

On March 16th I popped a Crop King Seeds Early Miss into some water and left her over night. She popped over night and went into paper towel. After a day I had about a 1 inch tap root so I popped her into a coco pellet with very weak nutes. From there she went into a 2 gallon pot and than transplanted into a 5 gallon pot that had a 80/20 coco/perlite mix. She seems very happy and is starting to show the first signs of bud sites. Now I am just not sure how to deal with her for the best results.

So what do you all think? I was thinking about tying some cords to the tent polls and pulling her branches open a bit. It seems pretty clear that I should have done some LST but my window seems pretty well shut on that for this lady. Than again I cannot say for sure which is why I am here. The stock is pretty rigid and I am concerned with snapping branches. I see much debate about trimming leaves and don't just want to start hacking at her. I know I want to get light down into the plant but don't want to hurt her. She is in a tent that is 2 x 4 x 5 with 2 so called 1200 watt led lights. I have a 3rd light I was thinking about hanging sideways to add light to the lower part of the plant. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have added some pics of the little lady, ignore the messy basement :)

You “ could “ thin out some fans ( lower middle ) to open up air / light. )
Also you can “ snip “ off lower underdeveloped budsites / minor growth at bottom areas.
Those tops will stack up as flower pushes along , some “ minor “ LST can be done carefully if branches are still partially
flexible , if not then she is what she is.

Looks healthy ... Sativa leaning so let this run as long as needed ( not by breeder estimates ) ..

Looks good.

Many thanks for your reply. I will be thinning out some fan leaves as you suggest and doing some clean up. Since it is the only one in the tent I am going to try and pull the branches out a bit to open her up, they are still pliable enough to pull apart but don't want to bend them too much as they are a bit rigid.

Do you think it would be worth throwing my 3rd light in the tent vertically? It hooks to 4 posts on the corners to hang so I was thinking about leaving 2 hooks off and hanging it sideways so it throws light onto the lower part of the plant from the side.

Thanks for your response. There is no flip to do, she is an auto. I like the idea of netting, I will do some reading on it. I was going to tie the branches open a bit but netting does sound like it would give more versatility. Do you just set the net and spread the branches out into the different holes?

I am also curious what people think about adding my 3rd light hanging vertically to give more light to bottom of plant, do you have any opinion on that?

I thought it might be a bit late in the game. I did order a net to try to open it up a bit and will be adding some side lighting. Thankfully she should be about done stretching as I am about out of room to raise the lights at this point. Next grow will have to include much more training. Thanks for taking the time to respond, much appreciated.
