Please explain how bone meal got into my Jacks + coco setup.

Exactly. Not even close. Those fungi are very discernable and easy to identify. Neither will flake or clump but bonemeal will and often does if there isnt enough microbial activity for the enzymes to break it down.

And to be clear, the stuff on mine didn't start out fuzzy at all. The picture is of a prolonged case, after the plant had been chopped for over a week. I have other pots that I haven't disposed of yet. It looks exactly like Myke's. He's growing in organic soil and I'm growing in coco. He's using a sips setup, I was using Blumats. His is bottom fed, mine is top. The only shared factor is a constant water source.

I get what you're saying. But they are two different set ups with more than a few variables. What you had/have is fungal growth. Its common and easy to identify. Mykes doesnt look like any type of fungal growth.
He stated he topdressed with Gaia and one of the key ingredients is bonemeal.
Bonemeal is often referred to as "glue" on other gardening forums because of they way it'll clump.

I dealt with the stuff over the course of months. It looks like the early stage. I mean it could be bonemeal, but I don't think so. Does anyone have a picture of the phenomenon?

But for the sake of not diving into this dumb argument -even though it been thoroughly answered- I'll concede to your point and "months of experience" with it.
Its a big ole clump of chalky alkaline fungus.

Okay, douchebag. The other guy was saying it was calcium buildup. I said I could be wrong several times. It just seemed very similar to mine, which was caused by overwatering, which was due to using a self watering setup. There was no mitochondrial web. It looked the same. Chunky, broke up after disturbing it. Almost identical in all ways.

No, over your douchey last post. Not that I wasn't douchey in my "long winded and wrong" post, but it was meant as a joke. And I apologized to the guy. People have said calcium buildup, caking agent, bone meal, and fungus. Each one had validity. There was no "dumb" argument going on.
