Thank you bro, long time since I’ve done this so just stressing a bit like you said hahaThey look fine, quit stressing!!! Water to runoff every time, always with nutes, no plain water.

Thanks for this info man! Been doing countless research regarding potting up and how it’s beneficial to build the best root system. Personally I used to start in 0.5L then straight into final 11L square pots with no issues.I had a runoff thread myself getting started with coco, heads up people are quick to say dont worry about it, lots of threads on that with credible growers saying its about what goes in.
Not see anyone mention yet about the root bound, you can cut a chunk off if you want, it prunes and makes it grow a new pattern of roots, u doing the binding. next text below solves any transplant concerns.
I would suggest doing seedlings in solo cup for a week with low EC then go into final container. just cut the cup so it gently pots. it will fill in the final pot very fast, exploding in growth above and below the whole time including autos.
it knows when its pot has upsized, and will shred right through it. many here advocate str8 to final container. the one week in a cup tbh just helps save nutrients and time.
I tried transplanting 3 times, just slowed growth, root bound and just seems like i had better growth with the plant knowing it has a container to fill from the get go.
nice gig going on! nice plants.
yea I would say especially if you want the best root system, unless you transplant on time or cut off bound roots. even then, as i expressed, the plant explodes in growth right away when going from cup to final. Thanks for this info man! Since going from 0.5L to 4L they have been rootbound and I just think they would of thrived going straight into final containers.
Do you think that 16L 5 gallon pots are a bit unnecessary? I think I’m going to go for the 12L next time to finish
