Not sure if it's a problem...

So I've been spraying my girl with water and very mellow nutrient water, nothing bad is really happening to the top leaves but just wanted to get some reassurance or a second set of eyes. I see these white outlines that are very faint on the leaves I think it may be calcium residue or something, as it comes off with water or when it's wiped off with water. Other details, its about 12-13 weeks old now been in flowering for past 3 weeks, soil based grow, also first time grow.

Nutrients are basically dissolved salts.

What you are seeing is probably salt build up.

If you are flowering i personally wouldnt be spraying your plant with nutes now and i would concentrate on feeding into your soil. Too much moisture on your buds can cause mould issues.

Hope this helps.

Oh ok, thanks alot. I'll start soil feeding again then. Also do you think it will matter then if i leave them on or is it better to take a wet sponge or something and just get all the excess build up off.

It really depends how much there is.

If you do sponge it off i would make sure they are fully dry before you put them back under the lamp otherwise you could experience burning from the magnification of the light through any left over water drops.
