not stable 12 hours dark periods

i will start flowerting in a few days and i would like to know if i would have any problems with my plants, if i dont have stable dark periods.With the world not stable i mean if i got different times of 12 hours dark periods every day.

U are not clear at all. is your problem that your 12 hours of darkness will not always be followed by 12 hrs of light? if thats what u mean that is no problem. As long as the plants NEVER get more than 12 hrs of light straight, they will be fine if the light schedule is not consistent or if dark periods are longer than 12 hrs.

If you are saying you cannot provide the plants perfect darkness for 12 hrs you are going to have problems. Photo period mj plants need their darkness to flower, some strains may not have problems, but MOST will reveg or hermy if they get any light during their dark period. Perfect darkness is MUCH more important to growing cannabis than good lighting. This being said my first grow was in a closet that had MANY light leaks and the plants flowered and did not hermy.

lol sorry i didnt explain it at all. By the word not stable, i mean if i dont have 12 hours dark periods every day the same hour, for example the one day it will have 12 hours dark period at 6.00 and the other day it will have 12 hours dark period at 23.00.

You can shorten the light period with no negative consequences (except yield), but if u give them more than 12 hours of light they may reveg/hermy even if they get 12 hours of dark afterward.
