I store my Clearex flushing aid in a large, clear plastic drum which is indoors and in a clean, climate controlled environment. It may remain there for days or weeks before use but has always remained stable and clear. One afternoon last week the entire contents (50 gallons) suddenly turned a purplish brown and I’m wondering if my aeration / agitation could have caused the discoloration? I’ve always used the air line to agitate and warm the Clearex in my drum prior to flushing but this is the first time it has turned color on me, so I’m wondering if anyone can enlighten me on whether or not the added air may have been the culprit?
