not nute burn...N def?

hey whats up guys....got a plant here that looks like it might have a slight N deficiency and/or a calcium deficiency. Got plant as a clone and the soil was ph tested as well as the water. It is NOT nute burn because I have not fed it any nutes yet, thats why im assuming its a N deficiency. If so, Im going to give it some PureBlend Pro tomorrow...
As you can see from the pics some of the leaves have yellowing on the edges. What you guys think?

If you need more details bout my setup its on the post in my grow journal.

I have not tested the soil because the soil comes pretested. The soil is called Premium Organic Potting soil and it says it is ph balanced. (On the back of the soil bag it says that "Calcium carbonate lime has been added to assure a balanced PH", and that it is laboratory tested to assure consistency and uniformity.) The soil includes things like Peat Moss, Vermiculite, Pumice, Bone Meal, Blood Meal, Cottonsed Meal, Alfalfa Meal, and Earthworm castings.

I ph tested my tap water and the water turned the shade of green designated Neutral.

I have only watered once since I got the plant! Ive had it about a week and those leaves that are turning slight yellow were pretty dark green when I got it.

how did you measure the ph of your roots? I know how to measure soil runoff but I didn't think i would have to do that yet.....havent added any nutes or anything....just one watering. Should I measure the ph of the soils runoff?

the shade of green should be a shade of yellow.
OMG I think you are right. I am looking at the thing now....a Neutral PH (Green Shade) according to this ph test is pH 7.0. So I guess my water is too Alkaline for MJ huh? How do I raise the acidity? Or will the pH drop when I give it it's first nute feed?

with the ph lockout i had the surrounding soil was at 6.5, but when i put the meter in the rootball that i transfered into the ground it read 5.0. It started to mess my plants up bad until i corrected it, id test by your main stem and see what it says.

My guess is none of the above. During the time a clone is taken and finally grows roots it has to get its food source from somewhere. No roots, so it consumes itself. Leave well enought alone. Watch the new growth and continue your grow. And it is not ph lockout. The clone is only a week or so old. The roots are not feeding the plant yet. Well maybe a bit. Looks like it is starting to take off.

I personally have had the clone about a week but the dispensary I bought it from had it in a misted clone dome with several other very healthy looking clones....i picked one that had the most roots stickin out of the rockwool.....
So I know it has roots......whether the roots are feeding the plant yet...i dont know...
Regardless of the cause of the yellowing.....my water has a ph of around 7.0...shouldn't it be a lil lower?

Yes it has roots, but just new starts. You planted the clone in a pot of dirt. Give it some time.

Thanks...I did a little more research....

I am going to take your advice and wait it out a bit as the yellowing doesnt seem too severe. Once I water with nutes the ph should drop a little bit. I will see how the leaves look after that and maybe test the soil runoff ph level. If it is still too high i'll add a tiny bit of vinegar to my water.......

Thanks to all that helped quick

my clones dont go through a period where they look bad like that. are you suggesting they should? those leaves are canoeing so imo there is a problem. what it is i dont know. could it be heat stress? thats how it looks a little.
if your worried bout the ph just get some water, ph it to 6.0 and water her.

It could be heat stress...thats the most logical thing i can think of...
I just improved the ventilation of the room and my hygrometer should be coming in the mail any day now. I'm going to feed it PureBlend today so if it IS a ph problem due to my water being too alkaline then they should look better after the feeding...

Those canoe looking leaves I think were due to a very low humidity level...after I raised the humidity the leaves are starting to fan out.....some new growth on top as well...
