Ok i have been trying to get this answer for days before i planted my seeds after germination but do plants need light to sprout?

I would think so. Once u plant your germmie it prob will need light to continue growing man

I don't think you need light till the seedlings have actually shown. I gave light as soon as they went into soil but thats just me

Anyone have a straight forward answer i dont want to kill my seeds

what i did was put plastic wrap around the peat pots with hair ties, to keep the moisture in then i put them under fluros. within 2 days i had sprouts..

Plants dont need light to bust from the seed but they do need light once you place them in the growing medium. Think about it, it has to grow towards the light. If there is no light, then what does it grow towards?
