So I'm completely new to this but I got two auto fem berry bomb seeds germinated both fine planted great grew up fast tho one was really long and stalky I read to bury some of it and it will eventually grow roots after that it stopped growing my other did around the same time also which didn't have that problem it has good size leafs but there both around 18 days old and still no second true leafs? What am I doing wrong?

I have miracle grow seed starting soil mix and a fluorescent grow light I don't have allot of money to use so I have the bare minimums

jesh, they are really small for 18 days old, but the good news is, they are still alive, so i'd not give up hope as of yet...

i know you said floros, but exactly what sort of light are you using, and how close to the plants do you have the lighting? they don't look too stretched, so i'm not really thinking that's your problem..
i'd probably just baby them along for a bit longer and see if they don't take off on you..

I'm using a 24" lights of America brand grow light I can't find the strength of the light on the box but the other one I have is a cool white 4200k and I have it about maby 6" above for the grow light and the other next to them closer and I got some tomato nutes from miracle grow and added it to my little one to see if it helps any a day ago to incase there's no nutes in the soil anymore

yeah, i wouldn't be adding any nutes to them for a while, still way too young and fragile and easy to over do with nutrients at this size and easy to kill them..
not really much you can do at this point but to keep them watered when needed, and keep them under the lights at a decent range.. like i said earlier, they don't look too stretched, so i don't really think lighting is your problem..
g/l with the grow though.. just be patient, i'd keep going with it as long as they don't look like they're dying on you, which they don't atm..

Yeah there nice and green and I defiantly wouldn't give up on them. Just because there taking a while longer then they should but thanks

Slow down on watering that's all I can figure would stunt them like that also move the light a bit lower. I run fluros 3-4 inches, only because I'm lazy and don't want to move them every day. with good air flow you can get those light prey close. Stop the nutes as race suggest.. Soil packed in? Where there any time release (green nerds looking things) in the soil?

The soil gets packed in a little when it's watered but it is nice fluffy soil even when wet so I don't think it's packed in and no just white little stone type things that dissolve

i thought time released capsules are the little yellow bb looking balls .... green nerds lol that sounds to me like the perlite when it turns green

Those are for aeration typically. What's the average temp?

Plain tap water? How often/how much?

Those little fuckers you can pop with your fingers are the quick release (dissolve with heavy watering). Those cause a huge issue with flushing chasing your tail with nute issues. The greens can be perlite, but the obnoxious green in some mg are slow release shit (I think it's some loose foam like matrix saturated in buffered npk)

miracle grow really is not a very good nute for marijuana.... also lights of america grow lights arent very strong at all... kitten u should try to go back to walmart or if you have a Lowes or home depot... and Find 4-5 6500k 23w cfls.......buy a LAMP KIT or disassemble an old lamp for the socket and plug..... get 3 1 to 2 light bulb socket Splitters (at lowes for 2.49) what u will end up with is 20150921_212052.jpg

If you want to be quasi serious I'd suggest getting an RH/temp monitor from walmart I think they are like six bucks.. Everyone's got the same one in their pictures. They are pretty sweet gives you high and lows for both over I believe 12 hour timeframe. It will help you figure out what makes your plants happy
And cool I'll look into it thanks
