I am freaking out a just a bit. I have 4 ladies that are 8 weeks into flower and one is about 10 weeks. I spend a LOT Of time with my ladies and this was the 1st time i really noticed. a few leaves here and there have mites...FUCKERS!!!

So I started to freak a bit, it is snowing in this part of the world so I couldn't go out and get anything. I started snipping the obviously infected leaves and tossed a lot of fan leaves away (even quite a few that weren't infected getting close to harvest).

There wasn't a ton, i am A.D.D as the day is long and take adderall so I know I spent a good two hours looking at every leaf from various angles to make sure I snipped MOST of the infected leaves.

What are your thoughts? Please...thanks.

Don't quote me on this as I have never had a problem with mites. But I read an article where it says to spray the affected plants with 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water to kill the mites. It also says to increase the humidity to get rid of them but that may not be an option at this point with budding. Im sure someone with more knowledge will come on here and help you man. Good Luck

Thanks Joe. I just started using c02 and thinking that might have caused it becuase my room was sealed and humidity was pretty high like 73% lights out. So i have turned off c02 for the time being (need to get a dehumidifyer) and opened things back up which has dropped the humidity down to 45% in about 15 mins.

How will this affect the end product? Yes I am have about 1-1.5 weeks till chop.

do you see webs? that is a bad infestation.

drop in yield and maybe a small drop in quality.

sm are not the end of the world. I would ensure the place is good and clean before moving more in tho.

I actually did see two spots with a little web action. Also the 3 choc kush I have are at 52 days flower and the veneno is about 70 day flower.

Am I helping the matter by watching further and snipping any leaves I see that infected going forward? Thanks

fans and a dehumidifier are what you need.

Ok I can get a dehumidifier tomorrow. I have a carbon filter with can can scrubbing the air.

some say you can spray with soapy water. Personally I wouldn't that late in flower. Especially without TONS of air mvmt. and a dehumidy.

I picked up a bug bomb from local shop. said it works really well. My chocolope kush probably has 2 weeks left, tops. Just ride it out and watch and cut any leaves that could become infected? What about when I chop and hang branches upside down? What will the mites do then? Will they just die? How will the buds be when put into jars and burped? I just don't want them to spread anywhere else.

been there done that . hit them with neem oil and water . yes even in 8 weeks in flower . I hit mine 14 weeks in flower. no bad taste from neem oil. or if your rich use mighty wash . expose to be the best safe for late harvest. also the mites are a bitch . suggest . 5 or so hours before harvest hit them with neem oil then harvest ( I stress the use of fans running 24 hours a day get the humidity 45 % or lower or don't use my tactics )

really. I am struggling with this becuase I have read literraly a 100 people who say still use neem or azamax now and I will be ok and 100 people who swear against it? Any other opinions? Thanks.

I have the humidity at 42 % right now.
