Not going so good

I let the soil dry out before I watered again but they are still on their way to being deceased. Any ideas would be good.

If you let them get THAT dry between waterings, I'd say under watered. But can you provide any info about the soil mix you are using, the PH of it, water PH, fertilizers?, temps? Could possibly be more than one culprit to your dying plants. Are those 16 oz cups? That doesn't seem like very much soil for them grow in, imo. Good luck, hope I/we can help you out!

Got these from a buddy so I'm not sure about the soil. He said ph tested around 7 and the soil he used was the same as previous grows. At first the plants seemed to be overwatered so I let the soil dry up for a short while hoping to get the nutrients from the soil back into them roots. They have been watered since then(two days ago), but they have yet to perk up and I'm pretty sure one is dead. Heat ranges from 79-85 and humidity is usually anywhere from 35-50%. Its in a closed box so I am trying to keep things as consistent as possible. Any ideas on how to keep humidity level without having to spray the plants every two hours.
They are 16oz cups what would be the appropriate amount of water for this size.

Heres some shots of the box
