You guys are doing great FIMS. Keep up this kind of encouragement. I break, smash, twist, rip, gouge, bend... pretty much abuse the shit out of them.

I top as soon as plants reach 5th node of seed or clone height. Then I FIM the 6-8 new colas after that. When plant gets transplanted into Flower I cut off any branches on the bottom 12" or so and turn those into clones, then FIM all of those at that time.

When you cut your hedges, they always come back more bushy unless you cut into a main stem or branch. Keep that in mind.

BTW after hitting it with a FIM spray with some Nodosum Ascophyllum Brown Norwegian Sea Kelp for Cytokines and Hormones and 1 drop Superthrive for a little B vitamin and Amino, to help plants bounce back from any cuts.

Ok I just started my first grow a few weeks ago, and I normally dont ask advice i will research shit otua of it to figure it out. But i just trying to fim about 2-3 weeks into my first grow. Now i did 3 out of 5 plants, but not sure if i did it right.... SO it says online to pull back the fan leaves and cut about 3/4 of the enw growth. Now this is where im confused. The new growth top has its own set of small fan leaves forming. Are they the ones i pull back or do they mean the 2 that are already formed right underneath the new growth? i will post pictures wen i get home from work so you can see what i mean. If i didn't do it right I would like to at least get the last 2 plants done right! Any advice or pics would be very helpful!
Gently pull the leaves back at the top node and pinch off that little bulb of growth waiting to unfurl new leaves. It will grow two sites after that. Let them grow out 2 nodes each and repeat the process on the second node of each branch.

Repeat cycle.
