that's a good sign your first was female, usually the males are sexed before the fems. if you're growing the same strain, that is

Sadly, not all the same strain, got a bunch of seeds from a friend, started em back a while ago, and just getting to the fun part (: 1 400w MH and 1 400w HPS on 8 beautiful plants.

Are there any good pictures of what to look for to see if they're male? like how different do they look if they're just starting to flower?

The Upper part thats ball like right? most of the plants have started growing the little things on the bottom that are hair like, but haven't seen any actual pistil growth yet on the rest.. Though it's only the 3rd day into flower now.

Yeah between nodes are where the balls will start forming.still early but males show fast under 12/12.

Here is the pic that helped me out. Look up by the top. Looks like a pine cone kinda. Real easy to spot.
