Not Amnesia Haze, what is it?

This bud came from a plant that was supposed to be Amnesia Haze. It smells like diesel and is developing purple trichromes. It's a large Setiva.

Does anybody have an idea of what it could be?20220918_133351.jpg

Why can't it be amnesia haze? Amnesia is heavily sativa dom and can have diesel, lemon and pine scents.

A lot of strains have been diluted for decades now and pheno variation is increasing.

That said it would be impossible for anyone to guess a strain from a trich closeup and a sativa description.

I wouldn't worry about what it could possibly be. At the end of the day you can call it whatever you want, it'll smoke the same regardless and should treat you well.

Thanks, to all. It came out of a package of 20 Amnesia Haze seeds. That wasn't even a good picture. There are parts of the bud that are where the trichromes are solid purple. I grow Amnesia Haze every year and never seen it purple. The seed bank hasn't been too good this year or last so no telling what it is.

Got one other plant that Isn't what it's labeled. It's an indica with short narrow leafs. It's not a really pretty plant but the limon smells that come from it is something wild.

I tried vaping some of these 2 plants. In about 2 or 3 weeks they will both be ((maybe) top shelf. I wish I'd taken cuttings of these two.

Thanks again.

That looks like amnesia haze x uptown funk x gorilla taint.
Don't know what either of these are but I dry herb vaped them both. They aren't even ready yet and I got a good buzz form both.

Next year I'm taking cuttings from all the plants just in case I get more like these.

The strains you said sound good. There are several of us that grow together and we are trying to choose next years strains already. The only one we know for sure is Diet Durbin THCV:THC. Funny thing, none of us smoke except to test out the weed, but I'm a gram-a-day user on edibles.

What strains do you grow?

Gorilla taint is all I grow. I can tell by your pictures you absolutely have gorilla taint genetic code in that cross you are growing.

Thanks to you guys for the advice. The reason we grow about half Amnesia Haze is two of the growers have PTSD and this is a "happy weed". The two cancer patients want Big Bud or Critical Mass. Now two other family members have high A1C so there is a Diet Durbin THCV:THC in the SCROG. Two or three of those will be added to outdoors next year, IF they get their MMJ cards. Those of us that just have aches and pains just want a good Setiva in the morning and indica a night.

Not all the growers here plant all of their six plants allowed so there will be room to try other strains. We may even put in another garden. We have been talking about adding strains. The ones you guys mentioned all sound good to me. I live on a farm so we have room for another garden as long as there are enough MMJ licences. It's too important for us not to stay legal.
