Im starting my 2009 outdoor grow. Seeds are int the mail. I orderd ;

1 NYCD lowryder
1 AK47/Hindu Kush lowryder
1 AK47/Blueberry lowryder
2 The Church (fem)
2 Big Bang (fem)
1 LSD (fem)

+ Taking a few clones from each.

I will be germinating and planting into small pots under 150 watts of cfl for about 2-4 weeks (untill they are about 4-5 inches tall) and the lowryders are going into 3 5gal pots and i expect to harvest some seed.
The Churchs and the Big Bangs will be going into 3x3x3 ft. holes filled with a mixture of potting soil and perlite.
The LSD is going to be my project, i have big plans for this girl, hopefully getting some bomb buds, she has 24% thc wich is the most ive seen so far. Oh well we'll have to see how its going to turn out.
I had a hard time chosing strains because i needed ones that are done by october because it gets cold up here.

I have some orchid nutriets i got from home hardware. Some for veg and some for Flower :)

I would like some advise on the soil. Will putting these plants in the ground be okay?

Hoping to get about 4 ounces from each plant, apart from the lowryders, is this unrealistic?

I'd like to see how this goes as I'm just starting an ak47 and shishka berry in a rubbermaid with some cfls and a timer at 18/6. Plan on going outdoors in late May in the same 5gal pots. The soil is my own mix. Gonna see what the good lord will do for the 2.

Just got back, had a good little drive. Got all muddy and picked out few possible spots.
1.Just off a trail ill walk until its out of sight.
2.Probally my favorite spot, very secluded just.. theres still snow lmao.
3.Is just beside #2
4.Isnt really a spot, just the entrance to #2 & 3.
5.Id have to grow in about 75 feet, possibly only put one plant there.
6.A picture of the side of the trail, its like that for a good half mile. Would a plant get sufficient lighting here?
7.Is a powerline, alot of good cover probally putting a few plants here.

Tell me what you guys think, seeds should arrive td or tommorrow. Cant wait to startt

I like 2 myself aslong as you plant something next to your ladies for camo.

This is a field hemp that grows just about everywhere. Or sumthin pointy.
Just hide them well.

It's probably just be me but I would try to avoid power lines. Its unlikely, but I would be sketched out by maintenance crews or other people being around the power lines.

As for sunlight, track the path of the sun during different times a day to get an idea of how many hours your ladies will receive.

on pic six man umm i dont know if that would be the best spot not alot of under growth..when i look for a spot in a heavily treed area i go for a lot of undergrowth (which i just cut down) and a nice clearing where u know the plant will get the sun it needs.as for the rest i really love pic two i think that should be your "main" spot.

good luck man:)

plan on mixing some potting soil peatmoss and perlite. Also I ordered a few seeds in december, and gave them to a friend with a huge grow room (medical) and he said he can give me 10 clones from each plant he got. Should be a good season :)

Would it be to cold outside to start them now? its averaging about 1 degree celcius, in a little greenhouse would i be able to start 2 or would they get to cold in the night?
